10th Class Maths Weightage for Unit Test for AP Students 2014-15

Following are details of weightage for 10th Class / SSC / Tenth Class Mathematics subject as per the new syllabus for Andhra Pradesh students. The weightage for various chapters and type of questions has been given below. This weightage will be followed in AP 10th Class Public exams for the academic year 2014-15:

Weightage to academic standards:

1. Problem Solving: 40 percent - 10 marks
2. Reasoning & Proof : 20 percent - 5 marks
3. Communication : 12 percent - 3 marks
4. Connections : 16 percent - 4 marks
5. Representation & Visualisation : 12 percent - 3 marks

Weightage to content:

1. Real numbers: 48% - 12 marks
2. Sets : 20% - 5 marks
3. Polynomials : 32% - 8 marks

Weightage to type of questions:

1. Objective: 28% - 07 questions - 07 marks
2. Short Answer: 40% - 05 questions - 10 marks
3. Essay : 32% - 02 questions - 08 marks

10th Class Maths Unit, Paper Wise Syllabus Division for AP Students 2014-15

Following are the details of Unit wise and Chapter / Paper wise division of X Class Mathematics Syllabus for the academic year 2014-15 in Andhra Pradesh. The 10th Class / SSC question papers in AP will be prepared as per this division of the new syllabus prepared by SCERT, Andhra Pradesh.
