The Government of Andhra Pradesh is proposed to review the improvement examination system for Intermediate first year candidates. The government is thinking of introducing improvement in second year instead of Junior Intermediate.
The Government has formed a committee to study the present improvement exams system. The committee will have Controller of exams, senior experts from various subjects and secretary of the senior secondary education department.
The intermediate students are giving important to improvement exams as the the marks in Intermediate are being given weightage in entrance exams like JEE Mains, Advanced and other exams.
The students who think that they got less marks in regular mrach exams will sit for improvement exams. Particularly science students are appearing for these exams more than other streams. The final decision of the Government may be delivered before the start of next academic year.

10th Supplementary Reader to Change in Telangana in 2015
The Telangana government is proposed to change the supplementary reader for 10th Class. The present supplementary reader 'Ramayanam' will be replaced by the biography of Komaram Bheem, a tribal leader from Telangana.
The experts committee formed by the department of school education in Telangana is proposed to keep the Ramayanam Reader in abridged form to include Komaram Bheem for 9th and 10th Classes.
The previous government has introduced Ramayanam to promote value education in the system. The Telangana government is keeping its options open to change the syllabus in social studies as well.
The Government is likely to take a final decision in a few days. The new textbook for Supplementary Reader may get ready by 6th January and go for printing afterwards.

TSOSS 10th and Inter Supplementary Exams 2014 - 2015 Telangana Open School Society
Telangana State Open School Society (TSOSS), Hyderabad, Telangana State has informed that the supplementary examinations for 10th Class / SSC and Intermediate classes will be conducted from 27th December 2014.
The supplementary examinations for both Tenth Class and Inter will be held till 7th January 2014. The examination timings are from 2 PM to 5 PM everyday.
The practical examinations for Intermediate students will be held from 8th January to 10th January 2014. The detailed time table is available on the website www.aponline.gov.in .
The AP government has introduced open school system for the benefit of those who are ot able to pursue tenth and intermediate in regular school system. The degrees yearned through open school system will be considered as equal to regular system.
