The first of the 11 new IIMs promised by the Government of India in its Budget 2014-15 has been materialized in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani has laid the foundation stone for IIM (Indian Institute of Management) in Gambheeram village near Vizag city in Andhra Pradesh.
The premier management institute is to come up on nearly 400 acres of land. The IIM was also promised to AP by the previous government in its Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014. The IIM will start functioning from June 2015 and the class work will commence from next academic year.
The IIM at Visakhapatnam will offer PGD in Management which is equivalent to masters program in Management. The institute may also come up with fellow program in due course of time. IIM Bangalore will act as mentor for IIM Visakhapatnam.
The Andhra Pradesh is also expected to get a campus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) of Pilani and a world class school of Sarala Birla Academy. The state is yet to start IIT and AIIMS, a Central University and also a tribal university.

2. Download User Manual for Making Corrections from Quick Links link.
3. After reading User Manual, Click "Online Application Form link from Quick Links
4. Head Masters can make corrections in the Students Data. Details of Date of Birth, Photo and Signature can not be changed.
5. Before corrections in rolls, make necessary corrections in the MNRs and update in the Web site.
6. Click 'Edit' button to make corrections.
7. Head Masters can change the a) Student Name b) Father's Name c) Mother's Name d) Gender e) PH Status f) Religion g) Caste Category h) Medium i) 1st Language j) 2nd Language k) Additional Subject (in case of Vocational / OSSC Students) l) Identification Marks through the website.
