Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) has
announced notification for admission into 6 year Integrated B.Tech
program for the academic year 2015-16. The admission into RGUKT
campuses at Nuzvid, Idupulapaya IIIT Campuses in AP and Basara IIIT
Campus in Telangana will be based on SSC Marks 2015.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in 10th Class / SSC or its
equivalent examination in 2015 in the first attempt. Age must be below
18 years.
Selection Procedure: Admissions to the above course will be based on
merit in the 10th class Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained
in each subject, and by following the statutory reservations of the
State.

NIT Eluru to get 480 Engineering Seats for 2015-16
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) to be established at Eluru (West Godavari district) is likely to get 480 seats in Engineering courses. Out of these, 240 seats will be allocated for the local state, Andhra Pradesh student and remaining 240 seats will be filled on all India basis through JEE main ranks.
The United Andhra Pradesh has NIT at Warangal. Andhra Pradesh lost the seats in this NIT after the bifurcation and 50 percent local seats will be filled with students from Telangana state only under Home State quota.
The AP Government has written to Union HRD Ministry for quota in NIT Warangala seats as the new NIT at Eluru will have only 90 or 120 seats and this will be a big loss for the AP students. HRD Ministry has proposed to increase the number of seats in NIT Eluru instead of allocating share in NIT Warangal seats, as this will lead the legal controversy with Telangana.
The Union Government has also made it clear that the common admission process mentioned in AP Reorganisation Act 2014 is not applicable to NITs and 50 percent seats will go to the students of the concerned state.

TS EAMCET 2015 Ranks on 28th May - First Phase Counseling in June 2015
The Telangana EAMCET 2015 ranks will be released on 28th May 2015. The TS - EAMCET 2015 ranks for Engineering and Medical and Agriculture streams will be available on sakshi.com, eenadu.net, eenadupratibha.net, sakshieducation.com, namasthetelangana.com etc. The dates for first phase TS - EAMCET counseling also will be released on the same day.
The Telangana Government / TSCHE is keen on completing the TS EAMCET 2015 admissions process as soon as possible. The counseling is likely to start in the third week of June 2015. Total admission process may be completed by the end of July 2015.
The admissions committee has approved the final key and it will be announced along with the TS - EAMCET 2015 ranks on 28th May. The ranks along with final key will be released by the Government.
The engineering class work will commence from 1st August 2015. The TS - EAMCET admissions committee has taken all these decisions. The approvals for the engineering colleges also will be completed by the end of this month.
