KC Mahindra Trust, Mumbai has announced notification inviting applications for Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships for the polytechnic diploma courses for the year 2015. Preference will be given to women candidates and poor students.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in 10th class and Intermediate / 10+2 class and must have secured admission in polytechnic course recognised by the respective governments. Candidates from armed forces personnel, physical disabilities and low income groups are encouraged to apply.
Selected candidates will get Rs. 10000 per year to complete their polytechnic course. Duration of the scholarship is three years. Candidates should enclose a self addressed envelope along with application form. Last date for the submission of request for the application form is 17 July 2015.

With the cut of 97000 seats in various engineering colleges, the number of available engineering seats under the purview of JNTU Hyderabad (JNTUH) has drastically come down. There are more number of TS - EAMCET 2015 qualified students now than the available seats. Following are details of seats in various branches under JNTUH purview.

The JNTU Hyderabad (JNTUH) has come out with a surprise by cutting 97000 engineering seats in Telangana colleges for the academic year 2015-16. There is huge cut in number of seats and branches of various engineering colleges. The engineering counseling for TS - EAMCET 2015 qualified candidates will start from 6th July 2015.
25 Colleges have opted for the de-recognition / de-affiliation on thier own. With the latest cut in seats, there are only 86000 seats in engineering course in Telangana. 91000 candidates were declared qualified in the TS - EAMCET exam 2015.
