Department of Social Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a new coaching scheme called, NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme (NT Ramarao Vidyonnathi) for providing free coaching cum professional guidance for the much prestigious UPSC - Civil Services Examinations 2016 for SC and ST (Scheduled Caster and Scheduled Tribes) students in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The Government will be sponsoring the selected SC and ST Students to the reputed institutes as per the G.O.Ms.No.2 SW (Edn.1) Dept dated 17-1-2015 and G.O.Ms.No.10 TW (Edn) Dept dated 3-2-2015.
Selection Method: The selection will be through entrance test / exam / screening test to be conducted by JNTU Kakinada (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - JNTUK). The selected candidates will be sponsored to Reputed Coaching Institutes in the Country for providing professional guidance for Civil Services Examination to be conducted by UPSC for Prelims-cum-Mains at free of cost.
Eligibility Requirements:
Age: As on 1st August, the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained 37 years. Upper age limit will be relaxed for Disabled candidates (VH/HH/OH) till 42 years.
Educational Qualifications: Any Degree.
Income ceiling: Annual family / parental income shall not exceed Rs.2.00 lakhs.
Application Method: Online only through the website ntrvidyonnathi dot org . 250 (two hundred and fifty) Scheduled Caste students and 100 (hundred) Scheduled Tribe students will be selected through Entrance Exam.
