Telangana Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association has informed that the entrance examination meant for admission into B Category (Management seats) has been cancelled in the wake of NEET 2016 guidelines.
The Supreme Court of India has ordered all the states and central government to conduct medical and dental admissions through NEET 2016 examination only. No other admission tests will be allowed by the Supreme Court.
The private medical and dental colleges in Telangana and AP are conducting separate entrance test for management quota seats from the last year.
The private colleges managements have informed that the exam stands cancelled and the fee will be returned to the candidates. The EAMCET Medical exam also has been cancelled by the Telangana Government.
TS Polycet 2016 Counseling Schedule for Polytechnic Admissions - First Phase
The Government of Telangana has released the Polycet 2016 Counseling schedule (First Phase) for admission into various polytechnic courses for the academic year 2016-17. The certificate verification will be done between 20-28 May 2016 and seat allotments will be completed on 1st June 2016.
Following is the TS Polycet 2016 Counseling Schedule:
1) May 20-28: Certificate Verification
2) May 23-30: Entry of web options for colleges and branches
3) May 31: Change of web options
4) 1st June: Allotment of Seats
5) 9th June onwards: Commencement of classes.
About 1.29 lakhs candidates were appeared for TS Polycet 2016 and more than 1 lakh candidates qualified for admission.
There are 55510 seats in various branches of polytechnic in Telangana state. The details of polytechnic colleges and seats will be uploaded to the website of SBTET in a few days.
21 helpline centers were set up for first phase counseling of TS Polycet 2016. Candidates must have Aadhaar number at the time of counseling. Second phase polycet counseling will be completed by 15th June 2016.

TS ECET 2016 Key, Results and Counseling Schedule
The Telangana Government has conducted TS ECET 2016 exam on 12th May 2016. The key for the ECE, CSE, EEE, Mechanical and other branches will be released by the department soon. You can also check eenadu pratibha, sakshi education for the key given by experts.
98 percent of the candidates have attended for the TS ECET 2016 held on 12th May 2016. The exam was held at 54 centers across Telangana State.
26410 candidates were appeared for the TS ECET examination. 6699 candidates were appeared for EEE branch, 6473 for mechanical engineering and only one candidate for Biotechnology branch were appeared for the exam.
The official key and results will be announced by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Telangana soon. There will be centralised counseling for the qualified candidates.
