KL University BBA - LLB and BA Admissions 2016-17

KL University has announced notification for admission into BBA - LLB and BA (with Civil Services orientation) for the academic year 2016-17. Following are details of eligibility and admission procedure:

BBA - LLB: Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or 12th standard with at least 45 percent marks. Preference will be given to the candidates with CLAT and AP LAWCET ranks.

BA with IAS orientation: Candidates with at least 50 percent marks in 10+2 or 12th class can apply.

VIT and SRM Universities in Amaravati from 2017-18

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the land allocations for prestigious VIT and SRM Universities to set up campuses in the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) and SRM University will have 200 and 150 acres respectively to set up campuses.

The AP Government is insisting on these institutions to start classes from the academic year 2017-18. The student strength in these campuses will be 50000 in VIT and 40000 in SRM University by the year 2025.

There are several other Indian and foreign universities and educational institutions showing interest in establishing campuses in Amaravati and Andhra Pradesh.

Engineering Colleges Fee in Hyderabad, Telangana for 2016-17

The Government of Telangna has fixed fee for the engineering colleges for the coming three academic years. The AFRC is proposed to suggest the following fee structure for BE / B.Tech in private engineering colleges in Telangana for the academic years 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Following are fee details for some reputed / famous engineering colleges in Hyderabad / Telangana:

There is marginal increase of fee in several engineering colleges. Some colleges have increase of Rs. 20000 to Rs. 30000 and a few have increased slightly higher comparing to the fee structure in Andhra Pradesh.

Second rung colleges have fee structure of Rs. 60000 to Rs. 80000. Minimum fee is fixed at Rs. 35000. The fee is fixed by AFRC after evaluation of faculty and facilities in engineering colleges.
