Tourism and Hospitality Institute Management System (THIMS), Tirupati
has announced admission notification for B.Sc in Culinary Arts at
Indian Culinary Institute, Tirupati.
Intake: 30. Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in 10 + 2
system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English
as one of the subjects.
Those appearing in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination can also appear in
ICI JEE 2016 on provisional basis. Selection of the candidates will be
based on merit in the joint entrance examination.
Interested candidates can apply online on or before 28 June 2016. Last
date for the receipt of confirmation sheet along with fee and other
documents at NCHM 2 July 2016.
Telangana EAMCET Counseling from 22nd June 2016
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad has decided to start TS EAMCET 2016 web counseling from 22nd June 2016. The process will start with certificate verification for the qualified candidates.
The entry of web options will be allowed only after the first week of July 2016 as IIT and NIT counselings will finish by that time. The web options may be allowed during 10-15 June 2016 as per the order of the ranks.
The counseling fee has been increased by the TSCHE. The SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs. 500 as counseling fee and it is Rs. 1000 for other candidates. EAMCET application cost also has been increased this year to Rs. 500.
The APSCHE has also hiked the counseling and processing fee this year onwards. TS EAMCET counseling will be held only after the completion of first phase of admissions in IITs and NITs as several students with top ranks from Telangana will prefer joining in IITs and NITs.

CESS and Telangana University Ph.D Admissions 2016-17
The Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Hyderabad is offering Ph.D programmes in Development Studies for the academic year 2016-17. The courses are offered in collaboration with Telangana University, Nizamabad.
The Ph.D Programme is offered in the following subjects: 1. Economics, 2. Sociology/ Anthropology/ Social Work, 3. Geography/ Geo-Informatics, 4. Public Administration / Political Science, 5. Statistics (With Specialisation in Econometrics), 6. Commerce & Business Management (Related to Research Areas of CESS)
Eligibility: Candidates with M.Phil OR those qualified in UGC test or any other National level test for JRF, ICSSR Fellowship holders, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship holders, candidates qualified in
UGC – NET, State Eligibility Test (SET) and UGC – FIP candidates are eligible to apply.
Method of Selection: There will be a preliminary screening test. Those qualified in screening test will be called for an interview. The interviews will be held at CESS, Hyderabad on Saturday, the 16th July 2016.
