NIMS (Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences), Hyderabad has announced
notification inviting applications from eligible candidates of
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States for Ph.D program for the academic
year 2016-17 in the following specialties.
Speciality subjects:
1) Cardiology: 1 Seat
2) CP and T: 6 Seats
3) CT Surgery: 1 Seats
4) Medical Gastroenterology: 2 Seats
5) Microbiology: 2 Seats
6) Nephrology: 2 Seats
7) Neurology: 2 Seats
8) Rheumatology: 1 Seat
9) Surgical Gastroenterology: 1 Seat
10) Surgical Oncology: 1 Seat
Eligibility: Candidates need Masters degree in Life Sciences with at
least 60 percent aggregate (Medical Microbiology, Biochemistry,
Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Genetics, Physiology, Human Anatomy,
Biotechnology, Psychology, Nutrition etc.).
Any subject allied to Medical Sciences with at least 60 percent
aggregate marks are also eligible. Candidates with Master of Surgery
(MS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) recognised by the Medical Council of
India (MCI)/ National Board of Examinations(NBE) or an equivalent
degree in any subject allied to medical sciences recognized by the MCI
or Membership of the National Academy of the Medical Sciences (NAMS).
Application forms in the prescribed format should be sent to Associate

Medical Sciences, Punjagutta, Hyderabad, Telangana State. Last date
for submission of applications is 8 July 2016.

Telangana Intermediate Advanced Supplementary Exams Results - 2017
The Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana will be releasing Intermediate Advanced Supplementary examinations results on 23rd June 2016. The results of the first year and second year (Junior Inter and Senior Intermediate) will be released by the authorities.
The Advanced Supplementary Examinations results of Intermediate first and second year will be available on the website tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results,cgg.gov.in, examresults.ts.nic.in, eenadu.net , eenadupratibha.net, manabadi.com etc.
Candidates can also get the results through BSNL land phone by dialing o 1100. The results of general and vocational intermediate courses will be available on the above mentioned websites. The exams were conducted under the supervision of CC cameras for the first time.

Study Abroad Scholarshpis for SC Students of Telangana State - 2016
Department of SC Welfare and Development, Government of Telangana has announced scholarship scheme for foreign education for the academic year 2016-17. Students aspiring to study abroad (in USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore) can apply Telangana ePass website. Following are details of qualifications and application procedure:
Candidates should have secured admission in a recognised university / institute in any of the above countries. The scholarship is applicable for courses in the disciplines of Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Medicine and Nursing, Social Sciences, Humanities and other professional courses.
Scholarship amount Rs. 20 lakhs will be adjusted towards tuition fee, accommodation, and other expenses including onward journey tickets. Age of the candidates should be below 35 years as on 1 July 2016.
Interested candidates can register online through the website telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in . Last date for the online application submission is 30 June 2016. Candidates have to appear for certificate verification on 12 July 2016 at the office of Director, Masabtank, DSS Bhavan, Hyderabad.
