The Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved in principle for the MBBS / Dental (Medical) seats in various private colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2016-17.
The MCI has approved for about 1000 seats in medical and dental colleges in AP. The seats are sanctioned after assurances from the colleges for providing proper infrastructure, faculty and facilities.
There will 1000 seats in private medical colleges in AP under A, B, and C categories. 50 percent of these seats will be filled under Convener quota through web counseling.
35 percent of seats will be filled through NEET scores and remaining 15 percent seats will be allotted for NRI quota. The colleges are in dilemma as there is dearth of candidates for NEET quota seats.

Qualified Candidates of NATA seeking admissions into 1st year B.Arch. (Regular) Degree Course offered under the university/ Private/ Minority/ Un aided colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2016-17 are informed to adhere to the following schedule with regard to the web counseling.
Certificates to be produced: All original certificates and 2 sets of Xerox copies like NATA score card, Intermediate Memo of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate, S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo, VI to Inter Study Certificate, Residence Certificate, Residence Certificate of either of the parents in A.P. for 10 years in case of non-local candidates, Income Certificate issued after 01 January 2016, Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority and also PH/ CAP/ NCC/ Sports/ Minority Certificate if applicable.
Venue of counseling: Andhra University Counseling Centre, Opp. Platinum Jubilee Guest House, Near Distance Education Building, Visakhapatnam.
Counseling Schedule:
1) Registration and verification of certificates: 19 August 2016 and 20 August 2016.
2) Display of Merit List of Registered Candidates and call for objections: 22 August 2016.
3) Display of Final Merit list: 23 August 2016.

Andhra University Distance Education MBA and MCA Admissions - 2016
School of Distance Education, Andhra University (AU) has announced notification inviting applications for MBA and MCA courses for the year 2016-17.
MBA is offered in the specialisations of Marketing/ Finance/ HRM in both 3 years and 2 year streams.
Eligibility: Fresh and in-service candidates with second class marks in graduation are eligible. Candidates who qualified in ICET 2016 are eligible.
Cost of application: Rs. 300.
Last date for receipt of application: 24 August 2016.
Date of Entrance Examination: 11 September 2016.
