BRAOU Admission Notification 2016-17 for MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA, Diploma and Certificate Programmes

Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Hyderabad has announced admission notification 2016-17 for MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA, M.Li.Sc, B.Li.Sc, PG Diploma and Certificate Programmes in various subjects / disciplines. The courses are offering in distance mode of education.

PG Courses: MBA, MA (Economics, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, English, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu etc., M.Com, M.Sc Maths / Applied Mathematics, Psychology, Botany, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Zoology. Duration is two years.

PG Diploma Courses: Marketing Management, Business Finance, Environment Studies, Writing for Mass Media, Human Rights, Culture and Heritage Tourism, Women Studies, Food and Nutrition, Literacy and Community Development, NGOs Management, Early Child care and education etc.

Registrations are accepted online only through www.braouonline.in . Last date for the registrations without late fee is 8th September 2016. Last date with a late fee of Rs. 200 is 20 September 2016.

Ongole PG Center to become State University - 2016

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is proposed to convert PG Center at Ongole of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh into a state level University. There is no university in the district so far. The PG Center is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU, Guntur).

It has been a tradition to set up a university in each district. But Prakasam and Vizianagaram districts do not have any university till the date.

Considering this, the Department of Higher Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh is mulling to start a University with the funds provided under RUSA. The Government may set up a University at the lands available at Pernamitta, near Ongole.

MBBS Admissions in GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research 2016-17

GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has announced admission notification for MBBS Course for the academic year 2016-17.

Applications are invited in the prescribed form only through online from candidates qualified in NEET - UG 2016 for admission into MCI recognised MBBS course of Gitam Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR) for the academic year 2016-17.

Admissions will be based on the all India overall ranking and marks obtained in NEET - UG 2016. Candidates from any state / UT can apply. Last date for the online submission of applications is 31 August 2016.

Applications are also invited for NRI / Foreign National category admissions through NEET 2016 for admission into MBBA course. Separate online applications are available for these admissions. For more details, see www.gitam.edu .
