GITAM University GAT 2017 for Engineering and Pharmacy Admissions

GITAM University has announced GAT - 2017 online admission test for admission into B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm programmes for the academic year 2017-18. GITAM is one of the leading deemed universities in the country.

GITAM has campuses at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Applications forms are also available with Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank across India.

NEET Question Paper in Telugu Medium from 2017

The Ministry of Medical, Health and Family welfare, Government of India has informed that the NEET Examination - 2017 will be conducted in Telugu also along with several other national and regional level languages.

The NEET examination will be held in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarathi, Assami and Bengali languages from the year 2017-18. The examination is for admission into medical courses such as MBBS and BDS in Government and Private medical colleges across the country.

There will be no impact of NEET on the reservation policies of the state governments. There have been demands from the state governments to conduct NEET in local languages as the students who studied the Intermediate / 10+2 in regional languages will be in disadvantage position to answer the question papers in English / Hindi languages.

Considering the requests from several state governments, the Central government has decided to conduct the NEET in the above mentioned regional / local languages.

Andhra Pradesh SSC Exams and Intermediate Public Exams Dates - March 2017

Update on Intermediate and SSC Public Exams in Andhra Pradesh March - 2017: Intermediate Exam in AP will start from 1st March and will close by 18th March 2017. SSC Exams will be held from 17th March 2017.

The Minister has also announced that the assistant professor vacancies in the Universities in AP will be filled through direct recruitment by APPSC. The vacancies of associate professors and professors will be filled by the universities concerned.

There are proposals to merge several entrance examinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Government is not considering the proposals to remove EAMCET examination.

The detailed schedules of IPE 2017 and SSC Public Exams 2017 in Andhra Pradesh will be available on the websites of respective education boards or examinations portal.
