Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - COMEDK shall conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) called Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET- 2011) for admission to Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech), Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) courses in all unaided and private Engineering and Medical Colleges in Karnataka for 2011-2012. The Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association, and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association joined together as ‘Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka’ (COMEDK) to organize admissions process into Professional Courses in Colleges in Karnataka. This is a single window examination for Engineering an Medical courses in Karnataka. There are approximately 1000 seats in all the colleges in Karnataka for MBBS course. Following are details of courses, eligibility and application process for COMEDK 2011-12.
Courses offered through COMEDK in Karnataka: B.E. / B.Tech. / MBBS / BDS. There will be no Entrance Test for Admission into B.Arch. Course in Karnataka. Separate schedule for B.Arch admissions is given at the end of the post. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh along with all other states are also eligible for COMEDK UGET 2011.
Eligibility for COMEDK 2011:
1. MBBS / BDS: Applicanst Should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with B.P.C. Subjects with at least 50 percent marks.
2. For B.E./ B.Tech. Courses: Candidates must have cleared 10+2 with M.P.C. Subjects with minimum 50 perent marks.
