  3. Hello, I've done PGDIT from 21st Century Gurukulam(2007-09). Am i eligiblle.

  4. Dear Sunrise..
The official notification did not mention PGDIT as eligible qualification. SO, you are not eligible! Infact this 21st century Gurukulam concept sucked AP students a lot. They lost everything... time, degree and value. Very sad concept!

  6. Hi Monish,
Yes. This is considered as PG Course. But I am not sure of AICTE Approval etc. IIIT and JNTU are placing morethan 90 % MSIT students in good companies. Hence, need not worry about recognition and all.
    Thanks

  9. I have an aggregate of 54% in my b.tech, will this effect placements. Because, I have seen the eligibility for sitting for most of the companies for placements is a consistent percentage of 60% throughout academics. So even if I score a good percentage in MS i will not be eligible for placements? is that true..

  10. Though its not the only criteria for placements, your B.Tech and M.S. shall play a crucial role in getting a placement. Yes, as you said, most of the companies ask 60-65 percent marks in Graduation / PG as a minimum score to be eligible for initial screening. It also depends on the college / institute you are into for your MS. If you do exceptionally well in your MS, your chances may improve a lot even your B.Tech marks are not that much competitive. Try to be in top-5 positions in your class in MS, leave rest to the companies. All the best!

I am interested in the msit program. I have around 2 years of exp in a reputed company. will this program help me? is there any information about the salary packages being offered to people graduating from this course?

    1. MSIT is one of the best programmes available in the country after M.Tech in IITs and some NITs. There are 100 percent placements since the starting of the programme. This is very rigorous course and average salary will be around Rs. 4-6 lakh. You need to appear for GAT for admission to MSIT.

    1. Pavani,
IIIT Hyderabad has better salary packages comparing to JNTU. Average package will be around Rs. 5 Lakh per annum. If you are already placed with good salary, you can continue in that. If you like to go for PG, you can try M.Tech at IITs or NITs and later prefer MSIT.
      Regards.
