Pepperdine University Campus in Andhra Pradesh

The Pepperdine University, one of the leading universities in the world with top 20 ranking has come forward to set up campus in Andhra Pradesh. The university has proposed to spend Rs. 1000 crore on the campus provided the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh allotted sufficient land. The delegation of officials of the Pepperdine University have met Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy along with IT Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah to discuss the plans of setting up of campus in AP.

The upcoming campus would likely to be spread over 500-600 acres along the Nalgonda - Warangal highway. The campus would also accommodate 3,000 students in various courses. Timothy M. Chester led team of the university met the Chief Minister to finalise the location and facilities required for the project.

The Pepperdine University has also came up with various academic exchange programmes between the universities in the state and Pepperdine. The focused subjects of these programmes are law and engineering. Pepperdine University has main campus at Malibu, California, USA. It has four graduate campuses in Southern California region. The university also has international campuses in England, Germany, Italy, Argentina and China.
