LPCET 2011 for TPT, HPT and UPT in Andhra Pradesh

The Convener, LPCET 2011 issued notification for the Language Pundit Common Entrance Test to be conducted for admission to Telugu Pundit Training (TPT), Hindi Pundit Training (HPT) and Urdu Pundit Training (UPT) institutes in Andhra Pradesh. These one year training courses are offered in Government CTEs / IASEs and other recognized Private Language Pundit Training Institutes in the State for the academic year 2011-12.

Qualifications and Eligibility: The applicants should have passed in any of the following examinations to appear for LPCET – 2011:

1. Telugu Pandit: B.A (Telugu Literature) / B.A (Oriental Language – Telugu) / Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu / Graduate Degree with optional subject Telugu / M.A (Telugu)

2. Hindi Pandit: Applicant should have Graduate Degree with Hindi as optional / Bachelor of Oriental Language - Hindi / Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad / Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad / Any other degree with Hindi (B.A standard ) recognised by the Government of A.P / M.A Hindi.

3. Urdu Pandit: Should have B.A (Urdu Literature) / B.A (Oriental Language - Urdu) / Bachelor of Oriental Language – Urdu / Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu / M.A (Urdu)

Age Limit: Applicants age must be above 19 years as on 01.07.2011. There is no upper age limit. Application forms for LPCET 2011 are available in all Head Post Offices and e-seva centres. The cost of Application form along with Test fee is Rs. 200/- . Properly filled in forms should reach Convener, LPCET 2011, Office of Commissioner and Director of School Education, Beside Telephone Bhavan, Saifabad, Hyderabad- 500004.

Important Dates:

1. Sale of applications in Post Offices and E-Seva Centers: 20th April 2011 to 20th May 2011.
2. Last date of receipt of filled in Applications: 25th May 2011.
3. Date of LPCET 2011: 19th June 2011
4. TPT: 10.30 AM to 12.00 Noon
5. UPT: 10.30 AM to 12.00 Noon
6. HPT: 2.00 PM to 3.30 PM
