Osmania University CEEP - Part-Time M.Tech, M.E. Admissions 2011-12 | Continuing Engineering Education Program

Here is a good opportunity for those interested in continuing education while working in a job. University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) has announced notification for admission into Part-Time Post graduate courses in Engineering. The courses will lead to M.Tech/ M.E. Degrees in Civil / Electrical / ECE/ Mechanical / Computer Science). The OU is offering these courses for the academic year 2011-12. under its CEEP (Continuing Engineering Education Program). The duration of these courses is 3 years OR 6 semesters. Admission into all the part time courses will be based on performance in the Entrance Test to be conducted by Osmania University. Following are the details of courses, specialisations, eligibility and application procedure:

1. ME (Civil Engineering): Structural Engineering: 15 seats / Hydromechanicas and Water Management: 15 seats

2. ME (Electrical Engineering): Industrial Drives and Control: 15 seats / Power Systems: 15 seats

3. ME (ECE): Digital Systems ENgineering: 15 seats / Systems and Signal Processing: 15 seats

4. ME (Mechanical): Production Engineering: 15 seats / Automation and Robotics: 15 seats / Turbomachinary: 15 seats

5. M.Tech. (CSE): Computer Science and Engineering: 15 seats

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have passed in BE / B.Tech. in relevant subject. Candidates must have at least 2 years work experience as on 30th June 2011. For M.Tech. in CSE (Computer Science Engineering), candidates from all branches of engineering can apply. M.Sc. (Physics/ Applied Physics/ Statistics/ Applied Mathematics/ Maths/ Geo Physics/ Computer Science / Electronics) and MCA candidates also eligible for M.Tech. in CSE.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can download applications from OU College of Engineering Website www.uceouo.edu OR OU website www.osmania.ac.in . Details of application procedure also available on the website. Those interested in applying more than one course have to apply separately for each course. Osmania University will conduct an Entrance Examination for admission into all Part-Time ME / M.Tech. Programs. Application fee is Rs 800. It should be drawn in favour of 'The Director, CEEP - Admissions, OU', payable at Hyderabad.
