EAMCET Medical Second Phase Counseling 2011 for MBBS and BDS - Seats Allotment

Update on 17th August 2011: EAMCET 2011 Medical Second Phase Counseling will be started from 18th August 2011. The Counseling will be finished by 22nd August 2011. There are 13 seats available for MBBS and about 400 seats are available in BDS Courses for the academic year 2011-12. Vacant seats and seats available for various categories in different colleges will be uploaded to NTR University website ntruhs.ap.nic.in . Counseling will be held at four online counseling centers at JNTU Hyderabad, AU Visakhapatnam, SVU TIrupati and NTRUHS Vijayawada. Seat Allotments will be done as per the Eamcet 2011 ranks.

Update on 4th August 2011: Here is a good news for MBBS and BDS aspirants. There are more seats available in the above courses as the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has approved three more medical colleges in the state. These are Apollo Medical College - Hyderabad, Anil Neerukonda Educational Society - Visakhapatnam and Chandramma Educational Society - Hyderabad. With this, another 400 medical (MBBS) seats are available for the EAMCET 2011 qualified candidates. These seats may be included in second phase counseling. Following are number of seats in each of these colleges:

1) Apollo Medical College - Hyderabad: 100 seats in MBBS
2) Anil Neerukonda Educational Society - Visakhapatnam: 150 seats in MBBS
3) Chandramma Educational Society - Hyderabad: 150 seats in MBBS.

EAMCET Medical (MBBS and BDS) first phase counseling has been concluded on 26th July 2011. The authorities will soon announce the dates for second phase MBBS and BDS counseling if any planned by the NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh). The counseling has been conducted from four counseling / helpline centers across the state. About 3194 MBBS seats and 696 BDS seats have been filled in various Govt. and Private Medical and Dental Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh through Medical Counseling 2011-12. All the reserved category seats under Osmania University Region were filled before the last day of the counseling. Hence the last day counseling will be held for BC (E), SC and ST category seats falls under SVU and Andhra University regions.

Counseling for Super Specialty Medical Courses: The NTR University of Health Science will also conduct Counseling for admission into Super Specialty Courses (MD / MCh) in the Govt. and Private / Unaided medical and dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The result of Entrance Test for Super Specialty courses were announced on 25th July 2011. About 356 candidates were attended to the entrance exam held on 17th July 2011 at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. Results and Counseling schedule can be obtained from ntruhs.ap.nic.in .

Counseling for Super Specialty courses will be conducted on 29th July 2011 at 10 AM. All the qualified candidates can appear for the counseling at NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences is the first medical and health sciences university in India. The University is authorised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to conduct admissions into medical, dental and allied courses offered in all Govt. and affiliated private colleges in the state.

  4. Hi Charan,
    As per the reports on the Eenadu news paper, only 13 MBBS seats are available for Second Phase Counseling. This indicates that the seats in new colleges could have been filled in the first phase. Let us wait for the seat matrix to be updated soon on NTRUHS website.

  5. I wanted to know about the BDS colleges and how many seats are available in hyderabad colleges for second phase counselling and till what ranks? I want to know this as soon as possible.
