AP Merit Scholarships, APSMFC and New Courses News - November 2011

1) Basic Course in Computer Skills: MSME Development Institute is planning to conduct three week skill development programme on 'Basic Course in Computer Skills' from Tuesday, 22nd November 2011 at Balanagar. 2) Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation (APSMFC) has announced that last date for the receipt of applications for Pre Matric Scholarships 2011 has been extended till 30th November 2011. Students studying from 6th to 10th class in Government Schools are eligible to apply. Those applied for the central government scholarships need not apply for sate government scholarhips. 3) National Merit Cum Means Scholarship examination (NMMS) will be held on 20th November 2011 in all districts of Andhra Pradesh. Examination will be held between 10 AM - 1 PM. Those have not received their hall tickets till the date can contact and obtain the duplicate hall ticket from DEO or Assistant Commissioner or Head Master of concerned school.

4) Kakatiya University, Warangal has announced that the University is all set to start a new course in post graduation from next academic year. The KU will be launching M.A. (Perini Dance) from 2012-13 and the course will be delivered with the help of Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.

5) B.M. Birla Science Center, Hyderabad is planning to start new courses in Astronomy. BM Birla Science Center has started new Science Observatory named BM Birla Observatory and Astronomical Research Center recently. The modern equipment at Observatory will be very much useful for aspiring researchers and students of Astronomy.
