GITAM - GSIB M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions 2011-12

Gitam School of International Business, Visakhapatnam has announced notification for admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes for the year 2011-12. Research programmes are offered in full time and part time mode. Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, more popular GITAM is founded in 1980 has been declared as a Deemed to be University on 14th August 2007. GITAM GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT), an autonomous Institute of GITAM has been transformed into GITAM School of International Business (GSIB). The institute has deployed reputed faculty and infrastructure for research programmes. Following are details of programmes, specialisation, eligibility and application procedure:

Specialisations: Apart from functional areas of specialisations such as Marketing, Finance and Human Resources, GSIB is also offering advanced specialisations related to International Business and Global Entrepreneurship such as Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Finance, Marketing, Intellectual Properties Rights, Accounting, International Trade Laws, Economics and Management in the global context.

Eligibility requirements: Applicants should have Masters Degree in International Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Business, Management, Commerce and Engineering in the respective discipline with minimum 55 percent marks (50 percent for SC/ST candidates). Selection of the candidates will be based on an admission test followed by interview. GSIB offer research assistantship for full-time research scholars as per the university norms.

Admission test will be conducted on 19th December 2011 and Interviews for the short listed candidates will be held on the following day (20-122011).
