Nagarjuna University M.Ed Part Time Admissions 2011-2012

Here is a good chance to upgrade your qualification while working in the teaching field. Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur has announced admission notification 2011-2012 for M.Ed. (Part Time) Course. Total seats available are 25. Reservations apply as per the rules of the Government. Duration of the programme M.Ed. (part time) is two academic years. There will be 90 working days in each year with 3 hours per day. Candidates should note that at least 75 percent attendance is compulsory to complete the programme.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants will at least two years of working experience as teacher or administrator and other functionaries related to the field of education such as administration, curriculum material development, research, policy making, teacher education are eligible for admission. All the candidates must have B.Ed. and the experience will be calculated from the date of award of the B.Ed. Degree. Any kind of experience prior to the date of award of B.Ed. Degree will not be considered.

The selected candidates should pay Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) per annum as programme fee. Apart from this, candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.1,000 at the time of admission as admission processing fee. There will be separate examination fee at the time of exams. Candidates must have secured at least 50 percent marks in Graduate or Post Graduate level and should get at least 55 percent marks (50 percent in case of SC and ST candidates) in B.Ed. or its equivalent examination duly recognized by Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Another important thing is, the service of the candidates in any recognised educational institution in Andhra Pradesh only will be considered eligible for admission. They should produce service certificate issued by concerned DEO / RJD along with the application.
