IIT JEE 2012 Top Rankers from Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh is known for good results in IIT JEE examination conducted for admission to Engineering courses in IITs. The state students got first ranks in the past two years. In IIT JEE 2012, AP student has achieved 4th rank in open category. There are some more good ranks in various categories. Most of the top ranks gone for the students of Narayana and Sri Chaitanya IIT Colleges. Following are details of some top rankers from Andhra Pradesh:

1. R. Nishant: Rank 4 (General Category - Narayana College)
2. MDH. Rahman: Rank 1 (Minority Category - Sri Chaitanya College)
3. Harinandan Teja: Rank 2 (OBC Category - Narayana College)
4. Y Kiran: Rank 3 (SC Category - Narayana College)
5. Akhil Nayak: Rank 4 (ST Category - Narayana College)
6. N Sai Suman Jagadeesh: 5th Rank (Open Category)
7. P. Bharat Kumar : 9th Rank (Open Category)
8. Rajeev Reddy: 11th Rank (Open Category)
9. M. Sai Krishna Deepak: 12th Rank (Open Category)
10. Sasank: 14th Rank (Open Category)
11. Nikhil Sairam : 18th Rank (Open Category)
12. JVS Shyam: 20th Rank (Open Category)

As per the latest information, it is estimated that about 2000 - 2500 candidates from Andhra Pradesh will get seats in IITs in various branches. More than 50000 candidates appeared for IIT JEE 2012 from Andhra Pradesh.
