Kakatiya University Seminar on Kakatiyas on 29-30 October 2013

Kakatiya University, Warangal is conducting two day workshop on History, Culture, Art and Architecture of Kakatiyas on 29th and 30th October 2013. The National Seminar is oraganised in collaboration with Kakatiya Heritage Trust and Indian National Trust for Culture and Heritage.

Interested research scholars can send their abstract research papers on the following themes:
- Political Conditions, origin, growth and decline of Kakatiyas
- State and Theory - Structure and Nature of State: Structure of Society, Position of Women
- Education and Learning: Growth of Telugu, Sanskrit literature
- Economic Conditions, Agriculture, Irrigation, Industry - Trade, Commerce and a gild system and urbanisation.
- Art Architecture, Music and Kakatiya Monuments - Tourism importance
- Fairs, Festivals and Jataras
- Relation with the neighbouring kingdoms
- Historiography of Kakatiyas.

Last date for the receipt of abstract is 15th October 2013
