AP 10th Class New Text Books by March 2014

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is making all the arrangements to release the new text books for 10th Class / SSC by the end of March 2014. The syllabus for all the subjects of 10th Class in Andhra Pradesh is going to be changed from the academic year 2014-15.

The Government is proposed to change the syllabus for English, Telugu, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies etc. Along with bringing new text books, the Government will also proposed to distribute the SSC text books to all the social welfare schools free of cost.

There has been a long standing discussion on the syllabus of 10th Class in Andhra Pradesh. The new text books are likely to follow the guidelines framed by NCF (National Curriculum Framework) in order to reduce the stress on the students.

The SCERT and Department of School Education are jointly working on the framing of new text books for SSC students in AP along with some other participating institutions.
