Supreme Court Judgement on EAMCET 2014 Counseling

The Supreme Court of India has rejected the request for the postponement of EAMCET 2014 counseling for three months by the Government of Telangana. In its final judgement on the EAMCET 2014 counseling on 11th August 2014, the Supreme Court has directed both the states of AP and Telangana to abide by the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 and conduct common admissions.

The Supreme Court has entrusted the responsibility of the conducting EAMCET 2014 counseling to AP State Council of Higher Education, following the guidelines of the AP Reorganisation Act. The court has mentioned that the APSCHE will conduct counseling as per the bifurcation Act. With the judgement of Supreme Court, the decks have almost been cleared for the EAMCET Engineering counseling.

The certificate verification is under progress in Andhra Pradesh and the same will be started in Telangana in a few days. APSCHE Chairman, Venugopal Reddy has informed that the certificate verification in Telangana may start within 3-4 days. The detailed schedule will be announced in a day or two by the Council.
