Supreme Court Orders for EAMCET Counseling 2014

The Supreme Court of India has cleared the decks for EAMCET 2014 counseling and admission process. The Supreme Court has directed both the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to complete the EAMCET 2014 admissions process by the end of August 2014. The Court has postponed the further hearing to 11th August 2014.

The Supreme Court of India has ordered both the states to stick to the guidelines framed in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 with regard to the common admission process. The Court has also told that the nativity issue has to be settled following the rules of AP Reorganisation Act and Presidential Order.

The court has also questioned the sanctity of Telangana Governments proposal to fix 1956 as cut off year to decide nativity and local status of the students.

With this the EAMCET 2014 Engineering counseling process is likely to continue as per the schedule announced by APSCHE, Hyderabad. The certificate verification will commence from 7th August 2014. The Telangana Government is yet to finalise its participation in EAMCET 2014 counseling process.
