Kaloji University of Health Sciences in Warangal from 2015-16

The Government of Telangana has decided to establish a new Health University in Warangal town. The University will be named after Kaloji Narayana Rao, a famous Telugu poet and writer from Telangana.

The medical and health institute will be named as Kaloji University of Health Sciences. The present NTR University of Health Sciences will be dedicated to the requirements of Andhra Pradesh only.

The Telangana Government may release an ordinance to establish the health university in Warangal. The town is already known ad education center. It has NIT and Kakatiya University along with several private technical and general colleges.

The medical degrees for Telangana students will be issued in the name of new university from the next academic year. The University will supervise all the processes related to medical education such as affiliations, admissions, examinations in Telangana State.
