Inter Cut Off is 750 Marks for IIT Admissions 2015-16 for AP and Telangana Boards

The IIT admission authorities have announced Intermediate cut offs for AP and Telangana students / boards to be eligible for admission into IITs for the academic year 2015-16. The OC and OBC candidates who have secured 750 and above marks in Intermediate and qualified in JEE Advanced will be eligible for IIT admissions.

Candidates who have not secured 750 marks in Intermediate but qualified in JEE Advance exam will not be eligible. The cut off for SC and ST candidates is fixed at 700 marks in Intermediate.

The candidates who have secured cut off marks in RGUKTs and Open School system also eligible for IIT admissions provided they qualify in JEE Advanced exam. The JEE Main ranks will be announced on 24th June 2015.

The Intermediate cut offs are aggregated for a total of 1000 marks with 500 marks for each year. Candidates need to secure 350 marks in each year, thus making a total of 750 marks for OC / OBC candidates. Candidates should be in top 20 percentile or need 75 percent marks in Intermediate to be eligible for IIT admissions.
