Telangana DEECET Counseling Schedule - 2016

The DEECET counseling in Telangana state is likely to be held from the third week of February 2016. The SCERT sources have informed that the TS - DEECET (previously known as DIETCET) counseling will be completed by the end of February 2016.

The Department of School Education will release the DEECET counseling schedule by 14th February 2016. The department has sanctioned 163 private colleges in the academic year 2015-16.

The department may approve 12 more private college for this year. The counseling notification for admission into minority colleges also will be released by the education department.

The DEECET counseling involves certificate verification, online entry of web options, allotment of seats and reporting at the allotted college. The admission into D.Ed (Diploma in Education) is through ranks in DEECET entrance exam.
