CEEP 2011 Polytechnic Web Counseling, Seat Allotment, Certificate Verification, Help Line Centers

Update on 6th July 2011: Convenor, CEEP 2011 Admissions announced that the certificate verification scheduled to be held for 5th and 6th July 2011 has been rescheduled for the candidates attending at Help Line Centers of Telangana Districts. The candidates from Rank. No. 60001 to 85000 have to attend on 10th July 2011 and candidates from Rank No. 85001 to 110000 have to attend on 11th July 2011. All these candidates have to exercise their web options on 11th July 2011 and 12th July 2011. There is no change in schedule for other candidates. It is also informed that all the candidates from Rank No. 1 to Last can change their web options (already given) if so desired on 13th July 2011. For all allotments will be placed on 15th July 2011 after 6 PM on the website apceep.nic.in.

Earlier Info: Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced Counseling Schedule for CEEP 2011-12. Department of Education will conduct web based counseling for admission to all the polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Detailed schedule for Certificate verification and Option exercise has been released by the Commissioner of Technical Education and Convener of the CEEP 2011. Seat allotment of CEEP 2011 will be announced on 14th July 2011. The polytechnic seat allotments will be displayed on the website apceep.nic.in . Candidates can download their allotment order and can fee challan from the website and report concerned college after paying the fee in any branch of Andhra Bank or Indian Bank. Following is the schedule of CEEP 2011 Polytechnic Counseling:

CEEP 2011 qualified candidates can attend for the certificate verification as per the schedule give below. Following is the rank wise schedule for Certificate Verification:

1) 02-07-2011: Ranks 1 to 20000
2) 03-07-2011: Ranks 20001 to 40000
3) 04-07-2011: Ranks 40001 to 60000
4) 05-07-2011: Ranks 60001 to 85000
5) 06-07-2011: Ranks 85001 to 110000
6) 07-07-2011: Ranks 110001 to 135000
7) 08-07-2011: Ranks 135001 to 160000
8) 09-07-2011: Ranks 160001 to Last Rank

Help Line Centers: Candidates can attend for certificate verification at any of the help line centers formed for CEEP 2011 Counseling. Candidates should bring all the original certificates such as SSC, Marks Memo, Class IV to X study Certificate, Caste Certificate if apply, Income Certificate etc for the certificate verification. Fee reimbursement scheme will be applied to SC/ ST/ BC/ Minority / PH and other candidates whose parental income is less than one lakh, as per the guidelines of the Govt. time to time.

1) 05-07-2011 and 06-07-2011: Ranks from 1 to 50000
2) 07-07-2011 and 08-07-2011: Ranks from 50001 to 120000
3) 09-07-2011 and 10-07-2011: Ranks from 120001 to Last Rank.
4) 11-07-2011: Chance to change frozen options.

Seat Allotment for CEEP 2011 will be done on 14th July 2011 after 6 PM. Candidates have to enter ICR form number, Hall Ticket Number, Password and date of birth certificate in candidates login. You need to download allotment order and challan form for the payment of fee. Those allotted seat have to report to Polytechnic concerned n or before 21st July 2011. Classes for Polytechnic students will start from 21st July 2011.

IGNOU–UNESCO Science Olympiad 2011– Eligibility and Test Pattern

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in association with the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is organizing the Science Olympiad 2011. Students from all South Asian (SAARC) countries can apply for this Olympiad. The program is intended to identify the talented students across the region to promote and motivate science education and research. Qualified candidates will get certifications, incentives and awards from reputed institutions. You can get details from the official website http://scienceolympiad.ignou.ac.in . Following are details of eligibility, exam nature, test pattern and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants for the IGNOU – UNESCO Science Olympiad should be studying Intermediate first year / 10+1 . They should have studied Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in 10th Class / SSC.

Nature and Pattern of the Test: The IGNOU - UNESCO Science Olympiad will be two phase / tier test.

1. Tier I: This is an objective type test with questions from all the four subjects. Equal weightage will be given to all the subjects. All the eligible participants will be called for this tier examination. Duration of the tier I test is 3 hours. There will be negative marking for the selection of wrong answers.

2. Tier II Test: 40 participants from the Tier 1 test will be short listed for tier II test. This test will be organized at IGNOU, New Delhi only. The test will mainly focus on the problem solving capabilities of the candidates. Questions will be in high standard and each question may take about 5-10 minutes to answer. Equal weightage will be accorded for all four subjects i.e., Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Duration of the test is 3 hours.

Padmavati Womens University M.Sc. Biotech, PG Diploma Admissions 2011-12

Directorate of Admissions, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV - Womens University), Tirupati issued notification for admission into various Diploma, PG Diploma Courses, M.Sc. 6. P.G. Diploma in Family Health and HIV/ AIDS counseling; Duration is 1 year. This is full time self financing course. Number of seats are 30. Eligibility is pass in any graduation.

7. Diploma in Fashion Technology; Duration is 1 year; Number of seats are 30. Eligibility is Pass in Secondary Education.
