Osmania University is likely to release Ph.D Admission notification for the academic year 2012-13 on 31st May 2012. The Dean of Social Science Prof Bhupathi Rao has informed that the notification for the Ph.D courses in various schools and departments will be announced on the said date. Candidates those qualified in Osmania University Ph.D Eligibility Test and qualifications such as M.Phil, UGC - NET, APSET, CSIR - JRF can apply for the Ph.D programmes.
Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 22nd June 2012. Short listed candidates will be called for Interviews to be conducted in August 2012. Admission process will be completed in August itself.
Osmania University is offering Ph.D programmes in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Management, Engineering, Education, Arts, Commerce and various other disciplines. OU PGCET 2012 Hall Tickets, Results and Counseling
Candidates those applied for OUPGCET 2012 (Osmania University Post Graduate ommon Entrance Test) can download hall tickets / admit cards from OU website at www.osmania.ac.in. The hall tickets have already been dispatched to the eligible candidates. The OUPGCET 2012 entrance examinations will commence from 4th June 2012. The last examination will be held on 12th June 2012. The exams are scheduled at more than 30 centers.
Admission to PG courses in Osmnia University, Palamuru University, Telangana University and Mahatma Gandhi University will be conducted through OUPGET 2012 ranks. Admission to PG Diploma programmes for the academic year 2012-13 also will be held through this exam.

10th Class Advanced Supplementary Exams Schedule 2012
Candidates those failed in SSC Examinations 2012 for which results are announced on 24th May 2012 can appear for SSC Advanced Supplementary Exams 2012. The 10th Class Advanced Supplementary Examinations Schedule 2012 has been announced by the SSC Board. Those candidates failed in SSC / 10th class regular / private exams of Andhra Pradesh Board can appear for the supplementary exams. You can also apply for recounting and revaluation of the answer sheets. The SSC board will send the marks lists of passed candidates to the schools with in 10 days. Following is the tentative schedule of supplementary examinations:
1. June 2012: First Language-1 (Telugu), Composite Course
2. June 2012: First Language-2 (Telugu), Composite Course-2, Sanskrit-1, Arabic-1, Persian-1.
3. June 2012: Second Language (Hindi)
4. June 2012: English-1

7. June 2012: Maths-2
8. June 2012: General Science-1
9. June 2012: General Science-2

Examinations will be conducted between 9:30 AM to 12 PM on the specified dates. Candidates willing to appear for supplementary exams have to pay the required examination fee in the prescribed format. Fee has to be paid to the Head Master of the concerned school before the deadline.
