August 28: Creative Multimedia Animation College (CMAC), Hyderabad in association with JNAFAU (Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabas is offering BFA (Animation) for the year 2012-13. The CMAC is also inviting applications for admission to M.Sc Multi Media programme offered in collaboration with Punjab Technical University.
1) Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA): Duration is 4 years. Number of seats are 40. Applicants should have qualified in Intermediate / 10+2 or its equivalent examination. BDS seats increased in Govt. Dental College at Hyderabad
August 28, 2012: The Dental Council of India (DCI) has increased number of seats in the Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad. The college presently has 40 seats and 60 more seats have been added in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course. The college is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued essentiality certificate to this effect. Following are course details in Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad.
1) Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS): Duration is five year. This is a full time programme. Admission will be through EAMCET entrance exam conducted for candidates who have passed 10+2. Selection will be as per the norms of the NTRUHS, Vijayawada.
2) Certificate in Dental Hygienist: This is a certificate course in Dental Hygienist and duration is two years. The programme will be held in full time mode. This also affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences. Admission will be for the candidates with 10+2 qualification.

Osmania PG Admissions - Spot Admissions for Vacant Seats 2012
August 28: It is estimated that about 6395 PG seats in various University colleges remain vacant after the centralised counseling by Osmania University for Post Graduate admission for the academic year 2012-13. The seats are vacant in Osmania University, Telangana University, Mahatma gandhi University and Palamuru University campuses along with several affiliated PG colleges.
Osmania University has called the students till the last rank in OU PGCET 2012 for second phase counseling. The seats remain unfilled in University campuses as the qualified candidates are not available various subjects. The OU has also clarified that there will not be spot counseling for PG admissions in Osmania University and it's affiliated colleges.
Other universities in the OU region, i.e., Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru UNiversities may conduct spot admissions for vacant seats. In the OU region, more number of seats are unfilled in private colleges. Candidates who have qualified in OU PGCET 2012 can directly get admission in the private colleges.
