YSR NITHM Hyderabad PGDM, MBA and Degree Admissions 2014-15

Dr. Y.S.R. National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad has announced notification for admission into PGDM, MBA, B.Sc and BBA progrmmes for the academic year 2014-15.

1. PGDM in Tourism Management - Graduation in any discipline with a valid CAT / MAT / CMAT / ICET score.

2. MBA in Tourism and Hospitality - Graduation in any discipline with a valid CAT / MAT / CMAT / ICET score. Duration of course is 2 years.

3. MBA (Hospitality) - Degree in any Hotel Management / any Degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Duration of course is 2 years.

4. B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration - Passed in Intermediate with JEE score. Duration of course is 3 years.

5. BBA in Tourism and Hospitality - Passed in Intermediate with Aptitude test score. Duration of programme is 4 years.

SVVU Tirupati Admissions into B.V.Sc and AH Degree 2014

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati has announced notification for admissions into B.V.Sc and AH Degree programmes for the academic session 2014 - 15 under NRI quota.

Courses : Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry B.V.Sc and A.H)

Eligibility : Applications from the children of NRIs. Passed in Intermediate or its equivalent with Physical Sciences, Biological / Natural Sciences and English.
Number of seats : There are 10 each in three Veterinary Colleges of Hyderabad, Gannavaram and Tirupati.

The completed application form along with relevant documents and fee DD should reach the Registrar, Administrative Office, Dr.Y.S.R. Bhavan, Sri Venkate swara Veterinary University, Tirupati - 517 502. Last date for the submission of application form is 2nd August, 2014.

3 New Medical Colleges in AP - 600 More MBBS Seats for 2014-15

The Andhra Pradesh has been sanctioned with three new medical colleges. With this, the students of Andhra Pradesh will get an additional 600 MBBS seats which will be filled through EAMCET. The two Government medical colleges will come up in Tirupati (Sri Padmavathi Womens Medical College) and Nellore and a private medical college will be established in Kurnool.

Apartment from this, the MCI has restored 100 MBBS seats cancelled in RIMS at Ongole. The Rangaraya Medical College and Sri Venkateswara Medical College got 50 additional seats each.

Following are details of seats added to the existing pool in AP:

1) Sri Padmavathi Women Medical College, Tirupati: 150 seats
2) Government Medical College, Nellore: 150 seats
3) Viswa Bharathi Medical College, Kurnool: 150 seats
4) Narayana Medical College, Nellore: 100 seats (total 250 seats)
5) GSL Medical College: 50 seats (total 200 seats)

Sri Padmavathi Womens Medical Colleges is the second in its category in the country. The students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will get benefited with the increase of MBBS seats as common admissions will be conducted for both the states.
