DIETCET 2014 Final Ranks on 28th or 29th July

The final ranks of DIETCET 2014 or DEECET 2014 are likely to be released on 28th or 29th July 2014. The examination has been conducted in May 2014 across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

DEECET / DIETCET 2014 is for admission into D.Ed course for the academic year 2014. There are about 41000 seats in DIET colleges in both the states. About 1.76 lakhs candidates were qualified in the DEECET 2014 examination. The final results with ranks will be released on 28th / 29th July 2014.

There is a huge demand of D.Ed. programme as AP and Telangana governments are proposed to release DSC teachers recruitment notifications for SGT and SA posts. Only D.Ed. qualified candidates will be eligible for SGT posts, as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India.

The ranks of DEECET 2014 / DIETCET 2014 will be available on the website dietcet.cgg.gov.in . The counseling schedule is yet to be finalised by both the governments.

JNTU Kakinada MSIT Spot Admissions 2014-15

JNTU Kakinada (JNTUK) has issued notification for spot admissions into Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) for the academic year 2014-15. The University is offering this innovative course with good placement record.

Eligibility: Candidates should have BE / B.Tech in any branch of engineering. Candidates with MCA and M.Sc in relevant subject may also apply.

500 More MBBS Seats in Andhra Pradesh

The new state of Andhra Pradesh is likely to get another 500 MBBS seats for the academic year 2014-15. The Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas has informed that the AP will get more medical seats apart from the existing 950 MBBS seats.

At present 650 MBBS seats are available in Government medical colleges and another 300 seats are there in private medical colleges. The private colleges have been sanctioned with another 500 MBBS seats by MCI, New Delhi.

The Minister has also informed that Gayathri Education Society and Gitams Medical College in Visakhapatnam are likely to get 150 seats each after verifications by MCI.

Great Easter Medical College at Srikakulam may be sanctioned 100 MBBS seats along with 50 seats each for NRI medical college at China Kakani and Katuri Medical College at Guntur. The AP government is likely to construct super specialty hospitals at Vijayawada and Anantapur.
