The Telangana State Government has approved the changes in 9th and 10th Class evaluation and examination pattern from the academic year 2014-15. The changes will take place in the number of question papers, internal and external assessment. Following are some important changes in the SSC public exams in Telangana.
There will be internal assessment for 20 marks. The public exams question paper will be for 80 marks only. There will be no exams for Sanskrit and Composite Telugu. The Telangana Government has done away with private examination system for 10th Class. All those interested to appear in exams through private system have to enroll for open school system.
The Telangana State has also decided to scrap revaluation system for the 10th Class exams. Usually students who failed in the examination with a shortage of 1-5 marks apply for revaluation and several students qualify after adding some consideration marks.
The recounting and re-verification will be allowed but not revaluation of answer sheets. The SSC public exams will have only 11 papers. Students need not get pass marks in internal assessment. They should get at least 28 marks (combining two papers) as a whole to pass in the examination.
MBBS and BDS Fee Structure in AP Medical Colleges for 2014-15
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to not to increase the fee for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2014-15. The fee structure will be same as it was for the medical counseling in the previous year. Following are details of fee for Government and Private Colleges in various categories of seats.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Government has hiked the fee for MBBS and BDS Courses in all categories of seats in Private Colleges. The B Category seat has been priced at Rs. 11 lakhs (NRI quota). The fee structure in Telangana Medical and Dental Colleges is also available here.
The Medical Counseling notification for EAMCET 2014 qualified candidates has been released for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2014-15. Candidates should produce EAMCET hall ticket, rank card, SSC certificate, Intermediate memo, Transfer and Study certificates, special category certificate in any, residence certificate wherever applicable.

The EAMCET 2014 medical counseling notification has been released by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. The admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2014-15 will be through this centralized counseling. The counseling will be held from 30th August 2014 to 5th September 2014 at 5 helpline centers in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The official website NTRUHS at ntruhs.ap.nic.in will provide all the details of counseling.
The certificate verification for the special categories such as Sports and Games, CAP (Army), NCC, Physically Challenged and Police Martyrs Children will be held on 7th September and 8th September 2014 at NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada only.
