APSCHE, Hyderabad has issued PECET 2014 admission notification for the academic year 2014-15 for B.P.Ed and UGDPED courses. The helpline centers for certificate verification and entry of web options are as follows:
Hyderabad: University College of Science, Saifabad
Warangal: Kakatiya University, Warangal
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University
Guntur: Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar
Ananthapur: Sri Krishnadevaraya University
Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara University
The certificate verification will be conducted on 7th, 8th and 9th October 2014. Entry of web options will open from 8th to 10th October 2014. For more details, see pecet.apsche.ac.in OR www.appecet.org .
Seats will be allotted on 13th October 2014. There will be second phase counseling if the seats remain vacant if any after the completion of first phase counseling.
AP for Specialised Universities for Languages, Arts and Distance Education
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is contemplating to start language universities with the assistance of Central Government. The state government is proposed to establish these universities in the lines of such institutions in Hyderabad / Telangana.
Hyderabad has language universities such Telugu University, English and Foreign Language University, Urdu University, BR Ambedkar Open University, Fine Arts University and Handicrafts University etc.
As per the AP Reorganisation Act, these institutions have to be distributed to both the states in 58 : 42 ratio. But the government is of the opinion that it will be better to get separate full fledged universities with central assistance.
The special team consisting of HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and secretary and other officials of education department may visit Delhi to meet Union HRD minister to put the proposals before the ministry.

Pharma D Web Based Counseling 2014 - 15
The State Council of Higher Education of Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of Telangana have announced admission notification for Pharma. D courses for the academic year 2014-15.
The EAMCET – 2014 qualified MPC Stream candidates are informed to exercise options through eamcet.nic.in as per the schedule and their ranks.
The web options can be exercised on 26th and 27th September 2014 for Pharma-D Courses only. There will be certificate verification and seat allotment as part of the web counseling process.
The candidates who have allotted seats have to report at the concerned college as per the reporting schedule. The details can be obtained from the website.
