10th Class Half Yearly Exams Model Papers for Telangana Students 2014-15

The Government of Telangana is gearing up to conduct SSC / 10th Class half yearly examinations in December 2014. The examinations will be conducted as per the new syllabus, new text books and new pattern of question paper released by the SCERT. Here we give some details about 10th Class Model Papers for half yearly exams for Telangana students in Telugu, English, Maths, General Science and Social Studies.

The question paper pattern for half yearly exams will be as follows:
1) Paper -1: For 40 marks
2) Paper - 2 : For 40 marks

1) Section I (Long Answer Type Questions): There will be 4 questions with internal choice. Each question will be for 4 marks thus making it a total of 16 marks

2) Section II (Short Answer Type Questions): The question paper will consists of 6 question with 2 marks for eahc question. Thus the section carries 12 marks

3) Section III (Very Short Answer Type Questions): This section will have 7 questions and each question carries 1 mark. In total, this section carries 7 marks.

4) Section IV: This section will have 10 multiple choice questions and each question carries 1/2 mark. Total marks for this section is 5.

Duration of the question paper is 2-30 hours. Total question paper is for 40 marks. Remaining 10 marks will be allotted for internal assessment. The scheme of the examination apply for all the papers and subjects in Telangana State.

PGECET 2014 Seat Allotments Latest Updates

The APSCHE (AP State Council of Higher Education) has informed that the seat allotments will be released after receiving the direction from the Hon'ble High Court of Hyderabad. The seat allotment date will be notified after the Government has been arrived to a decision. Candidates are requested to visit website pgecet dot apsche dot ac dot in for updates.

It is also noted that the candidates can contact Help Desk at 040-27097124 for any other details. Candidates admitted under GATE / GPAT are not eligible for fee reimbursement under the Government schemes. GPAT qualified candidates admitted into PHARM.D (P.B) course do not get AICTE scholarship.

In a separate notice, the APSCHE has informed that the Commission is taking all the steps to release the seat allotments as soon as the pending case in High Court is cleared. Candidates who have exercised web options under GATE / GPAT / PGECET 2014 may wait for further notification by the authorities.

The candidates who have qualified in the above entrance exams and participated in web counseling are eagerly waiting for the dates of seat allotments. The candidates will be informed about the dates through the PGECET website and allotment details will be sent to their registered mobile numbers.

LPCET 2014 Counseling from 7th November

Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET) counseling will be held from 7th November 2014 across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. LPCET is for admission into language pandit training courses in Telugu, Hindi and Urdu languages.

The list of eligible candidates for LPCET 2014 counseling is displayed on the website lpcet.cgg.gov.in . Candidates who have their names / hall ticket numbers along with ranks in the list can exercise web options through any AP online centers or Mee Seva Centers.

The helpline centers will charge Rs. 60 for providing the service. All the details regarding LPCET 2014 counseling can be obtained from the website mentioned above. The counseling will be held jointly by the AP and Telangana admission authorities.

Eligible candidates can also obtain the information of language pandit colleges in various districts from the website lpcet.cgg.gov.in .
