The NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada has announced
counseling notification for provisional admission into M.Sc. (Nursing)
courses for the academic year 2015-16.
The seats under Competent Authority Quota available in the affiliated
colleges will be filled through the counseling to be held at Dr NTR
University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
Course: M.Sc.(Nursing)
Counseling Date: 13 October 2015.
Eligibility: All the candidates who qualified in the Entrance Test
held by NTR University , Vijayawada on 16 August 2015 for admissions
into M.Sc.(Nursing) courses for the academic year 2015-16 are eligible
to attend the counseling.
AP - DEECET 2015 Ranks in Andhra Pradesh
The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will announce the AP - DEECET 2015 ranks within 3-4 days. About 1 lakh candidates have been applied for the two year D.Ed course and 68000 candidates were declared qualified.
The ranks for the qualified candidates have not been announced by the Government due to prolonged certificate verification process. Out of the total qualified candidates, only 40000 have appeared for certificate verification.
The AP - DEECET 2015 ranks are likely to be announced on 5th or 6th as the certificates verification process has been completed.
There are 237 D.Ed colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Out of these, several colleges have not get approvals from the Government due to lack of proper facilities and fake certificates at the time verification by the Government.

Andhra Pradesh local status to migrant students and employees - 2015
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced that the nativity of the students and others who migrates from Telangana will be decided by the Government of AP. The cabinet has taken a decision announcing 2nd June 2017 as the date for applying the local status to students / employees / others.
According to the latest decision, the students, job aspirants and employees who migrates from Telangana / Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh on or before 2nd June 2017 will be considered as local.
They will be treated on par with the local / native students of the Andhra Pradesh in education and employment opportunities. The cabinet opined that this does not require amendment to the constitution of India.
