The Telangana EAMCET 2 admissions counseling for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17 will be held in the first week of July 2016. The certificate verification for the same will be held from 25th July 2016.
The TS EAMCET 2 admission counseling will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. The counseling will be held at JNTU and Osmania University in Hyderabad, Kakatiya University in Warangal and NTR University in Vijayawada.
The TS EAMCET 2 - 2016 counseling schedule has been released and AYUSH counseling will be held after MBBS and BDS counseling. The Telangana government is likely to conducte MBBS and BDS counseling after the completion of same in AP to avoid confusion among students.
Following are details of convener quota seats in MBBS and BDS in Telangana:
MBBS Seats: 1060 in Govt colleges and 720 in private colleges.
BDS seats: 140 in Govt colleges and 500 in private colleges.
Tentative Schedule for TS EAMCET 2 counseling:
1) Certificate verification for general category students: 25th to 29th July 2016
2) Certificate verification for PwD, Sports, Army categories: 30th and 31st July 2016.
3) Admission Counseling: First week of August 2016.

EAMCET Weightage Calculation and Ranking in AP and Telangana States - 2016
Following is the detailed procedure for EAMCET weightage and ranking after weightge to Intermediate / 10+2 marks. The procedure is being followed by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for EAMCET engineering and medical entrance tests.
Weightage calculation and Ranking:
i) For EAMCET with 75% weightage
For X candidate : 140/160X75 = 65.625
For Y candidate : 151/160X75 = 70.781
ii) For qualifying exam with 25% weightage of group marks
For X candidate : 560/600X25 = 23.230
For Y candidate : 510/600X25 = 21.250
iii) Combined Score
For X candidate : 65.625+23.230 = 88.955
For Y candidate : 70.781+21.250 = 92.031
iv) Ranking of the candidate
First Rank – to Y candidate
Second Rank – to X candidate
Criterion for Ranking in case of tie
I. By taking into account total marks in EAMCET
II. By taking into account the marks secured in Mathematics/ Biology subjects in EAMCET
III. By taking into account the marks secured in Physics in EAMCET
IV. The Grand total % of aggregate marks scored in the qualifying examination. For example if a candidate scores grand total of 850 marks which includes language subjects also out of 1000 then the grand total % of aggregate is 85.
V. Date of Birth of the candidate, the older being given performance over the younger.
