Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada - Andhra Pradesh has issued notification for common computer based online entrance test for admissions into M.Sc Nursing courses available in AP under NTRUHS and Telangana state under KNRUHS for the academic year 2016-17.
Applications are invited through online from the eligible candidates for admission into M.Sc Nursing for the seats of Competent Authority Quota in colleges located in AP and Telangana states.
The computer based online entrance test will be held on 21 September 2016. Last date for the submission of online applications is 7 September 2016. More information is available on the website ntruhs.ap.nic.in OR drntruhs.org .

Paper - B: The Circle is the first chapter in 'Coordinate Geometry' unit. It is defined in terms of locus, which was studied in first year paper-B. Locus defines various geometrical figures in coordinate geometry. Also, the chapter 'Translation of Axes' is used to derive important results such as parametric equations of a circle. "Learn to be silent and let your quiet mind listen and absorb" is the famous quotation best suitable in class rooms in learning about the circle and its various features.
Certain results that were studied in first year coordinate geometry are widely used in obtaining certain other results in second year coordinate geometry. For example, the foot of the perpendicular relation studied in 'Straight Line' is used to find the midpoint of the chord intercepted by a given circle and a line. The section formulae will come into use when it is required to find the relative positions of two circles. Thus, students are expected to remember the fundamentals, studied earlier.
The second chapter 'System of Circles' deals with more than one circle. The angle between two circles and radical axis concept are well studied in this chapter. While 'Law of Cosine' formula is used in measuring the angle between two intersecting circles, the concept of locus finds its way to define radical axis of two circles. The concept of S + .L = 0, of first year straight line is applied in solving certain problems related to radial axis.
Study 'Circle' well and you can follow 'conics' as well. All the concepts of 'circle' are helpful to understand the concepts of 'conics'. The three 'conics' are very important as far as examinations are concerned. . The conic 'Hyperbola' is important by virtue of the 'Asymptotes'. 'Asymptotes' is a special feature of the 'Hyperbola'. The angle between asymptotes is an important phenomenon of hyperbola.
'Calculus' unit deals with integration mainly in the second year intermediate course. Integration is regarded as the inverse process of differentiation. Standard forms, properties of integrals, integration by parts, partial fractions method, reduction formulae etc. are all important features of integration. . Thorough understanding of integration leads to thoroughly understand 'Definite Integrals'. This chapter is very much significant as it involves various properties and formulae. Students are advised to attempt the solved and exercise problems of the text book repeatedly. The grip over integration and definite integrals helps the students to perform well in examinations at any level.
'Differential Equations' is the last chapter in Paper-B. Forming and solving the equations are the two phases of study in this chapter. Finding the order and degree of a differential equation matters most as far as very short answer type questions are concerned. 8.1.5 must be referred to by any student along with the other exercise problems. . Students must concentrate on all the methods of "solving the differential equations". Thorough and repeated practice of the exercise problems is beneficial to the students to the extent of maximum score.

Senior Inter Maths Preparation Strategy for Paper A for AP and Telangana Students
Second year, which is also the final year, of two-year intermediate course, is crucial to students since it is career - deciding. MPC and MEC students, more prominently have to focus their attention on getting a decent aggregate of marks. With a good aggregate in hand, they can plan for anything high in their future education or life. Second year Intermediate Mathematics public Examination will be conducted in the form of paper-A and paper-B. Paper-A contains in it Algebra, Statistics and Probability units. Paper-B has only two units by name Coordinate Geometry and Calculus. In the examination, each paper carries a maximum of 75 marks.
Paper - A
Complex Numbers: This chapter involves definitions, geometrical representations, properties, polar forms and Argand diagram. This chapter is very much important with regard to preparation for IIT-JEE Examination. Application oriented problems may be given in such competitive examinations. Students are expected to be thorough with the above mentioned basic items.
De Moivre's Theorem: This theorem is proved by using the principle of mathematical induction, studied in first year paper-A. A complex number in polar form is used in the statement and proof of the theorem. The theorem is helpful in finding the nth roots of a complex number and thereby, nth roots of unity. This chapter carries a good weightage of marks along with the previous chapter. Students need to pay attention in their preparation with regard to every application of the theorem.
Quadratic Expressions: In this chapter, both quadratic expressions and equations in one variable are dealt with. Students will learn about signs of quadratic expressions, change in signs and extremum values in this chapter. The theorems based on these items are important in the examination point of view. The chapter also deals with quadratic inequations theoretically and also graphically. Students may feel this chapter easily understandable.
Theory of Equations: This chapter deals with the relation between the roots and the coefficients in an equation and also the methods of solving an equation when two or more of its roots are connected by certain relations. This is treated as a self contained topic in Mathematics under the name of 'Vikalpa' by renowned mathematician 'Mahavira' in 9th century A.D. Several important theorems and results are stated in this chapter. This chapter is significant in view of a number of applications in day to day life.
Various instances can be cited with regard to the applications of permutations and combinations. Choosing five questions out of seven questions in a question paper, selecting a cricket team of eleven players from out of twenty members, etc... are based on the principle of this chapter only. .
