2.73 Lakhs Candidates applied for AP EAMCET 2019

The officials have confirmed that 2.73 lakhs candidates have applied for AP EAMCET - 2019. EAMCET entrance examination is for admission into engineering, agriculture, allied medical courses for the academic year 2019-20.

Last date with late fee:

Candidates can apply for AP EAMCET 2019 till 4th April with a late fee of Rs.500, till April 9 with a late fee of Rs.1000, till 14 April 2019 with a late fee of Rs.5000 and till 19th April with a late fee of Rs.10000.

Telangana EAMCET Counseling Schedule Announced for Engineering Admissions 2018-19

Engineers admissions schedule for the academic year 2018-19 has been announced by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Admission into BE / B.Tech courses will be based on ranks in TS EAMCET - 2018. Here is the schedule:

Online Registration:

Online Registratin and Fee Payment: 25th May to 2nd June 2018: In this phase candidates can register the details online and pay the fee through online only.

Certificate Verification:

Verification of certificates: 28th May to 3rd June 2018: Candidates need to attend for certificate verification as per the schedule given to their ranks.

Web Options:

28th May to 5th June 2018: Web options can be given through official EAMCET website as per the ranks. Last date for the entry of web options is 5th June 2018.

Seats allotment:

8th June 2018: Provisional allotment of seats for the first phase of counselling. Candidates need to download allotment letter. They need to report in the allotted college by 12th June 2018.

Second Phase Counseling:

Second Phase of Engineering counseling will be conducted after the completion of first phase. The left over seats will be filled through second phase counseling.

Telangana EAMCET Results, Ranks and Counseling Updates 2018

Telangana EAMCET 2018 results will be announced on 19th May 2018. The results will be available on the website eamcet.tsche.ac.in . TS EAMCET 2018 ranks also will be released along with the results.

Counseling from 25th or 28th May:

Counseling for EAMCET qualified candidates will be conducted from 25th or 28th May 2018. The counseling process will start with certificate verification.

Detailed counseling schedule will be released on 18th May 2018. The EAMCET exam was conducted for the agriculture and medical related courses on May 2 and May 3. The exam for engineering stream was held on May 4 to May 7.

Qualifying marks:

Candidates have to score a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks to qualify in the TS EAMCET exam. The ranks will be calculated based on 75% EAMCET marks and 25% Intermediate board result.

AP EAMCET Online Exam in the last week of April 2018

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is likely to conduct AP EAMCET 2018 examination in the last week of April. The detailed schedile will be announced soon by APSCHE.

Schedule for all other entrance examinations will be released by the minister for HRD, Ganta Srinivasa Rao on 8th January 2018. Telangana Government has scheduled TS EAMCET from 2nd May 2018.

AP Government is proposed to conduct EAMCET prior to Telangana EAMCET. APSCHE may schedule the prestigious exam for engineering and agriculture admissions in the last week of April 2018.

Medical admissions will be conducted based on NEET rankings in both AP and Telangana States. Hence EAMCE will be only for engineering, pharmacy and agriculture admissions.

NG Ranga University Counseling for EAMCET BiPC Stream Candidates - 2017-18

Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) (Lam - Guntur) has issued notification for combined counseling for admission into BiPC Stream courses at B.Sc Hons Agriculture / B.Tech Food Technology / B.V.Sc and AH / B.F.Sc/ B.Sc. Hons Horticulture Courses in Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati and Dr YSR Horticultural University, West Godavari district for the academic year 2017-18.

Counseling for the candidates who have submitted application onlien for admission into the above courses in these universities will be held in the Auditorium, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Lam Farm, Guntur based on AP EAMCET 2017 ranks.

The candidates should report at the counseling center one hour before the scheduled time with all original certificates as listed in the information booklet along with relevant fee.

The counseling for admission into private colleges for B.Sc Hons Agriculture / B.Sc Hons Horticulture courses will be done separately for the candidates already applied online. A separate notification will be issued later.

Andhra EAMCET Key on 28th April and Ranks on 5th May 2017

The key and answers for AP EAMCET 2017 will be released on 28th April 2017. The results of EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh will be announced on 5th May 2017. The ranks will be announced as per the rules.

The AP EAMCET 2017 Engineering exam has been held online for three days and about 1.87 lakhs candidates have appeared for the examination.

EAMCET Agriculture entrance test will be held on 28th April 2017. About 80000 candidates will be appearing for the examination. The preliminary key will be released on 28th April 2017. Objections to the key will be received till 1st May 2017.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has held EAMCET examination in online mode this year. The exam was scheduled for three days in various time slots.

1000 Medical Seats in Private Medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh 2016-17

The Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved in principle for the MBBS / Dental (Medical) seats in various private colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2016-17.

The MCI has approved for about 1000 seats in medical and dental colleges in AP. The seats are sanctioned after assurances from the colleges for providing proper infrastructure, faculty and facilities.

There will 1000 seats in private medical colleges in AP under A, B, and C categories. 50 percent of these seats will be filled under Convener quota through web counseling.

35 percent of seats will be filled through NEET scores and remaining 15 percent seats will be allotted for NRI quota. The colleges are in dilemma as there is dearth of candidates for NEET quota seats.

MBBS and BDS Seat Allotments on 10th August 2016 for AP Colleges

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (NTRUHS) will announce the allotment of medical and dental seats for the academic year 2016-17 on 10th August. The MBBS and BDS seats will be filled through web counseling.

The entry of web options for MBBS and BDS seats will start from 6th August 2016 and will be continued till 8th August 2016. Following is the rank wise schedule:

Ranks 5001 to Last Rank: 8th August 2016

Candidates who have qualified in AP EAMCET - 2016 BiPC stream and appeared for certification last month can exercise web options through internet at home or helpline centers.

AP EAMCET Medical Web Options on 6th, 7th, 8th August 2016

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the AP EAMCET - 2016 Medical Counseling schedule for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17.

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) is conducting online counseling for medical courses for the first time. The entry of web options will be available on 6th, 7th and 8th August 2016.

The seats will be allotted on 10th August 2016. The detailed notification for web counseling will be displayed on NTR University website.

NTR University has released the results of PG Medical Degree / Diploma results of the examinations conducted in May / June 2016. The university has introduced digital evaluation from this year.

AP EAMCET 2016 Medical Web Options on 27-28 July 2016

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced schedule for entry of web options for the AP EAMCET - 2016 qualified BiPC stream candidates for the academic year 2016-17.

Candidates who have attended for certificate verification can now enter web options on 27th and 28th July 2016. The notification will be released by NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada on Monday.

Seat allotments will be announced after 48 hours of web options. The class work will commence from 1st August 2016. The MBBS and BDS seats in Government and private medical and dental colleges in AP will be filled through this counseling.

EAMCET Weightage Calculation and Ranking in AP and Telangana States - 2016

Following is the detailed procedure for EAMCET weightage and ranking after weightge to Intermediate / 10+2 marks. The procedure is being followed by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for EAMCET engineering and medical entrance tests.



Weightage calculation and Ranking:

i) For EAMCET with 75% weightage
For X candidate : 140/160X75 = 65.625
For Y candidate : 151/160X75 = 70.781

ii) For qualifying exam with 25% weightage of group marks
For X candidate : 560/600X25 = 23.230
For Y candidate : 510/600X25 = 21.250

iii) Combined Score
For X candidate : 65.625+23.230 = 88.955
For Y candidate : 70.781+21.250 = 92.031
iv) Ranking of the candidate

First Rank – to Y candidate
Second Rank – to X candidate

Criterion for Ranking in case of tie

I. By taking into account total marks in EAMCET
II. By taking into account the marks secured in Mathematics/ Biology subjects in EAMCET
III. By taking into account the marks secured in Physics in EAMCET
IV. The Grand total % of aggregate marks scored in the qualifying examination. For example if a candidate scores grand total of 850 marks which includes language subjects also out of 1000 then the grand total % of aggregate is 85.
V. Date of Birth of the candidate, the older being given performance over the younger.

AP EAMCET 2016 BiPC Stream Counseling Schedule Released

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad has announced admission notification inviting candidates for certificate verification and option exercising for web based counseling for the BiPC stream for the academic year 2016-17.

The qualified candidates for AP EAMCET - 2016 (BiPC) stream are informed that certificate verification and option entry will commence from 18th July and 19th July as per the schedule given below:

18th July and 19th July 2016: For Pharm D, B.Pharmacy and B.Tech Biotechnology candidates.

All other details like fee structure, counseling fee payment, documents to be produced will be available on the AP EAMCET website at apeamcetb.nic.in .

AP EAMCET 2016 Second and Final Phase Counselling Notification

Second and final phase counseling for AP EAMCET 2016 will be held between 15 - 17 July 2016. The official notification in this regard will be announced by the the APSCHE. This will be the final counseling for AP EAMCET admissions.

Candidates who have participated in the first phase counseling and those have not attended for certificate verification may also participate in second / final phase counseling.

Allotment of seats for second phase counseling will be on 18th July 2016. About 6000 candidates who have secured seats in first phase counseling have not reported in the colleges. They also can participate in second counseling.

Candidates who have qualified in Intermediate Advanced examinations can download the AP EAMCET rank cards from the website. They can also participate in the second / final phase counseling.

AP EAMCET 2016 BiPC Stream Counseling by NG Ranga University 2016-17

Acharya NG Rangal Agricultural University, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) has announced admission notification 2016-17 for AP EAMCET 2016 qualified candidates under BiPC Stream. The online applications are invited for admission into following courses:

UG Courses: B.Sc Agriculture / B.Tech Food Technology / B.V.Sc and Animal Husbandry / B.F.Sc / B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture.

The courses are offered at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University - Tirupati, Dr. YSR Horticultural University (YSRHU) - Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district.

The last date for the submission of applications is 27 July 2016. Candidates can apply online by uploading the documents through www.angrau.ac.in .

Candidates who apply online only will be called for counseling. There is no manual application process. The seats will be allotted during open manual counseling. Fee reimbursement scheme is applicable as per the guidelines of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
