GIPAT 2011 for Pharmacy in GITAM University

GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh has announced GIPAT 2011 (GITAM Institute of Pharmacy Admission Test) notification for admission to UG and PG Programmes in Pharmacy at Visakhapatnam Campus. GIPAT UG 2011 will be conducted for B.Pharmacy and GIPAT (PG) 2011 will be for admission to M.Pharmacy courses. GITAM University offers merit scholarships for deserved candidates. Merit cum Means Scholarships and Teaching Assistantships are available. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility for B.Pharmacy: Applicants should have passed in 10+2 / 12th examination in Science in 2011 or 2010 with a minimum of 60 percent marks in the group aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology and 1st Class in the qualifying examination in a single attempt. Candidates should have scores of GAT (UGT) 2011 / GIPAT (UG) 2011.

Eligibility for M.Pharmacy: Applicants should have B. Pharmacy with a minimum of 50 percent marks along with score in GIPAT (PG) 2011.

Interested candidates can download application forms from www.gitam.edu. GIPAT 2011 will be conducted at all major towns in Andhra Pradesh along with some centers in other states. Last daet for receipt of filled in applications is 14th April 2011.
