Edu News- GAT 2012 Results- Counseling, Arabic Course, Music Competitions

1) Gitam admission test - GAT 2012 will be held from 15th April 2012. Admission to B.Tech and M.Tech in Gitam University colleges located at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad will be based on ranks in GAT 2012. The GAT 2012 will be held between 15th April and 4th May 2012. There are 2800 seats in B.Tech and 420 seats in M.Tech courses in Gitam University. The GITAM University will also provide free education to the top 10 rankers of the GAT 2012 along with other good rankers in IIT JEE, AIEEE and EAMCET 2012.

Candidates should apply online for GAT 2012 through www.gitam.edu. Candidates can also get applications from nearest bank branches of Indian Bank and Union Bank of India. The GAT 2012 Results will be declared on 10th May 2012 and the counseling will commence at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Tirupati. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 14th March 2012.

2) Arabic Training in Hyderabad: A month long Arabic reading course will be started by the Institute of Arabic Studies, Mehdipatnam from 3rd January 2012 as 11 AM. The institute has informed that a separate batch for girl students will be held at 12 noon. 3) Music Competitions: Sri Bhakta Ramdas Government College of Music and Dance, Secunderabad in association with Prema B.R. Rao Trust is conducting Hindustani Classical vocal music competitions on January 5, 2012. The last date for the receipt of filled in applications is 4th January 2012.
