Dates of EAMCET 2012, ECET 2012, ICET 2012, EDCET 2012, LAWCET 2012 Schedules

Dates and exam schedules for Common Entrance Tests in Andhra Pradesh are finalized by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). EAMCET 2012 will be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad for the record consecutive 14th year. Only online applications will be accepted from this year for EAMCET. Earlier it was predicted that the EAMCET 2012 may be handed over to Osmania University or Andhra University. Along with EAMCET 2012, date for other popular entrance test such as EDCET 2012, ECET 2012, PGECET 2012, ICET 2012, LAWCET 2012 and PGECET 2012 also have been announced by APSCHE. Following are details of host universities, dates and schedules of entrance test (CETs) in Andhra Pradesh:

1) EAMCET 2012: 12th May 2012 - JNTU Hyderabad - Chairman: Rameswara Rao, Convener: Ramana Rao (Earlier it was reported as Osmania University or Andhra University). Notification will be issued during first week of February 2012.

2) ICET 2012: 18th May 2012 - Kakatiya University (KU), Visakhapatnam (Chairman : Venkataratnam, Converner : Om Prakash). Notification will be issued in second week of February 2012.

3) ECET 2012: 24th May 2012 - JNTU Kakinada (Chairman : Tulasi Ramdas, Convener: Saibabu). Notification will be released during second week of February 2012.

4) EDCET 2012: 8th June 2012 - Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Chanirman: A Gopal, Convener - M. Venkat Rao. Notification will be announced during the first week of March 2012.

5) PGECET 2012: 8th June 2012 - Convener : Venugopal Reddy, Chairman: Satyanarayana - Osmania University, Hyderabad. Notification will come out during second week of March 2012.

6) LAWCET 2012: Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati
7) DIETCET 2012: Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.
8) PECET 2012: Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

Detailed notification for all of these examinations will be announced in the due course of time. EAMCET 2012 notification will be the first one to come out in the series followed by ICET 2012 Announcement and EDCET 2012. The responsible universities will issue entrance test notifications after authorization from APSCHE. EAMCET is conducted for admission to engineering, pharmacy and agriculture programmes. ICET 2012 is meant for admission to MBA and MCA programmes in colleges Andhra Pradesh. EDCET is intended to fill the seats in B.Ed course offered by various Government and Private colleges in AP. EAMCET 2012 will be held on 12th May 2012. All the CETs schedules will be displayed on the APSCHE website www.apsche.org.
