Intermediate Botany Practicals Exams Tips for AP and Telangana Students

Practicals in science are a means of testing multiple skills of the
students like observation, dissection, drawing, analysis, interpreting
results etc. The examination pattern of Practical examinations for
intermediate students of Bi.P.C. is revised with few additions and few
deletions from the previous syllabus.

The observation, drawing and manipulation skills of the students are
tested in these examinations. Hence the student of Biology stream
should be thorough with the methods of performing practicals in all
the four subjects viz., Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.

The model question paper and the scheme of valuation regarding Botany
practicals is discussed briefly so as to stress on the important areas
and ignore the unnecessary details to score better.

General instructions:

Reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled
time. Bring your certified record and herbarium without fail.
(Students will be permitted for the exam even without record and
herbarium but he/ she has to forego the 7 marks allotted to them).

Bring pens, pencil, eraser, sharpener, blade, scale etc. You will not
be permitted to exchange such things or move around in the exam hall.
Spare time judiciously for each section. It is always better to have a
model practical exam in your college to get well acquainted with the
methods and materials.
