ANGRAU Second Phase Counseling for Polytechnic Admissions 2014-15

The NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) has announced that the second round counseling for admission into polytechnic colleges in AP and Telangana states will be held from 8th to 11th October 2014. The counseling for agricultural courses has been completed by ANGRAU.

There are seats remain vacant in Diploma and Agriculture Engineering and Seed Technology courses for the academic year 2014-15.

The counseling will be held at Auditorium, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad from 8th October 2014 to 11th October 2014. The details of grade points and other information is available on the website www.angrau.ac.in .

1) Yes. You should be ever ready for experiments.
2) You should learn the concepts with prompt concentration.
3) Maintain a running notes, a laboratory record.
4) Write notes on your own. Do experiments and write the observations.
5) Learn the keywords. They are very important to understand the concepts. They shall be useful in future education too.
6) There will not be any important questions or study material. You should be ready to
answer any question. Thus, you need to understand the concept very deeply and should be able to answer any question asked in any context relating to the syllabus.

once in a week in every subject. In Biology, you can take up a lesson, for
example 'Heredity'. This is a new topic for you. Listen to the lesson. Perform required activities. Learn about the experiments conducted by Mendel. Watch videos about DNA, learn Darwinism, know how species evolved. Then prepare questions on the doubts that arise in your brain.

Take the help of your teacher/ reference books/ videos/ friends etc., and answer these questions. Check for the correctness of the answers.

Plan properly and implement it. Be confident and build up ability of writing answers on your own. Perform experiments and activities. Concentrate on running notes and lab
record. Do lot of project works. Keep preparing own questions and answer them. Discuss with friends, parents and teachers. You shall win if your study plan succeeds.

10th Class Biology Study Plan - Preparation Tips for AP and Telangana Students

There are 9 concepts in every chapter. Every concept is important.
1. Lesson: They are more elaborate and have concepts that deal with the logical capabilities of the students. They also aim at improving the scientific temper.

2. Think and discuss: See these boxes in every lesson. You are supposed to answer the questions given in them. Use any method to draw your answers. Make sure you answer them on your own.

3. Do you know?: These are information boxes. You can see tables/ information/ science facts/ scientists and their inventions relating to the concept of the lesson.

4. Activities (experiments): There are 2 to 6 activities in each chapter. You can do these activities individually or in groups. These activities include experiments, project works, studying facts and analyses, simple techniques, observations etc.,

5. Lab activity: These are laboratory experiments. Students should maintain a lab record in order to do the experiments and note them down.

6. Learn to do experiments and record them in appropriate manner. Altogether, there are 6 lab activities in the textbook. These activities should be performed in the laboratory and you should be well aware of the process and purpose of the experiments.

7. You can perform a few of them at home also. There is no rule that you cannot do experiments at home. You people can do footwork and preparations at home or with your
friends to make it easy while performing experiments in the laboratory.
