SRF-JRF Positions in CCAR-CPRI Bangalore

Center for Collaborative and Advanced Research (CCAR), Central Power Research Institute, Bangalore is inviting applications for Junior / Senior Research Fellowship (JRF / SRF) Programme. CPRI is a reputed national organisation for promoting applied research in power sector. Under this programme, JRF and SRFs will work on a research theme / project for two years. They have to work on full time basis. Following are details of eligibility:

1. SRF: Applicants should be Post Graduate in Engineering with first class marks. They should have good academic record and aptitude for research.
2. JRF: Masters Degree in Science with first class marks is essential qualification along with good aptitude for research. Project specialisations and eligible degrees are available on the website. Vacancies are there for M.E./ M.Tech in CS / IT/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Material Science/ M.Sc. Chemistry candidates.

Selection will be based on marks in the qualifying examination / Interview and past academic and research record. Stipend for SRF will be Rs. 18000 and for JRF is Rs. 15000 per month. They will also be paid a one time payment of Rs. 25000 based on the recommendation of the review committee. Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed format given on the website www.cpri.in .
