AP EAMCET Medical Web Options on 6th, 7th, 8th August 2016

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the AP EAMCET - 2016 Medical Counseling schedule for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17.

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) is conducting online counseling for medical courses for the first time. The entry of web options will be available on 6th, 7th and 8th August 2016.

The seats will be allotted on 10th August 2016. The detailed notification for web counseling will be displayed on NTR University website.

NTR University has released the results of PG Medical Degree / Diploma results of the examinations conducted in May / June 2016. The university has introduced digital evaluation from this year.

Telangana EAMCET - 3 for MBBS and BDS Admissions 2016-17

The Government of Telangana is likely to conduct TS EAMCET - 3 for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental college of Telangana state for the academic year 2016-17. The EAMCET - 3 may be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad.

The Government is mulling to change in the convener in the wake of question paper leak for TS EAMCET - 1 and TS EAMCET - 2 exams. VC of JNTUH Prof Venugopal Reddy is likely to take charge of TS EAMCET - 3.

It takes at least 40 days for the Government to issue notification, receipt of applications, conducting examinations, announcing results and counseling process. The last date for the medical admissions is 30th September, as per the Supreme Court guidelines.

The Government has to take up admissions in three phases. It has to conduct the exam and announce results also by 1st September 2016 to complete the admission process on time.

Telangana EAMCET Paper Leak 2016 - Govt ot Cancel TS EAMCET - 1 and EAMCET - 2

The Government of Telangana is likely to cancel the TS EAMCET - 1 and TS EAMCET - 2 in the wake of reports of question paper leak for medical stream examination. The CID will be submitting report on this and the Government will take a decision soon.

The CID has probed into the alleged paper leak of TS EAMCET - 2. It reportedly came to know that the TS EAMCET - 1 medical question paper also came out before the examination.

The Government is likely to scrap both the examinations and conduct a fresh examination for medical stream for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the year 2016-17.

The CID has identified Raja Gopal Reddy alias Govind Reddy as the culprit in the paper leak issue. He was previously involved in the paper leak of PG Medical entrance, Karnataka Medical entrance, leak of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science entrance paper etc.

MBA and MCA Fee Structure in Andhra Pradesh for ICET Admissions 2016-17

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has finalised the fee structure for MBA and MCA courses for the academic year 2016-17. The same fee structure will be applicable for the academic years 2017-18 and 2018-19 also.

The minimum annual fee for MBA and MCA has been fixed at Rs. 27000. Maximum fee for MBA is Rs. 68000 and for MCA, Rs. 60500.

The certificate verification for AP - ICET 2016 qualified candidates has been started in AP. Most of the colleges did not demand for fee hike as there is no rush from the students for these courses.

About 55000 candidates were qualified in AP ICET 2016. Out of the 22000 candidates called for certificate verification, only 10568 candidates attended for the verification.

NTR University of Health Sciences B.Sc Nursing, BPT and M.Sc MLT Admissions 2016-17

TS EAMCET - 2 Medical Counseling Postponed

The Government of Telangana / Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences has decided to postpone the TS EAMCET - 2 Counseling in the wake of reports on leak of question paper. The CID inquiry is in progress on the issue and the report is yet to be submitted on the Government.

The Government / Kaloji University will announce new dates soon after the completion of CID inquiry on the medical paper leak issue. It is proposed to conduct certificate verification from 1st August 2016.

The CID is thinking of filing case on the suspicious students, broker Venkatrao and some other institutions, allegedly involved in the issue of TS EAMCET - 2 question paper leak.

The Government of Telangana has recently conducted TS - EAMCET 2016 for admission into medical and dental courses in management quota seats private medical and dental colleges.

OUCET 2016 - 2nd Phase of Web Options Schedule

RGUKT Ongole and Srikakulam Integrated B.Tech Admissions 2016-17

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT - Andhra Pradesh) has announced admission notification for the new campuses at Ongole and Srikakulam for the academic year 2016-17. The institutions offer 5 year Integrated B.Tech courses.

Candidates should have passed in SSC in regular mode in 2016 in the first attempt. Age should be below 18 years as on 31 December 2016.

TS EAMCET - 2 Medical Paper Leak - CID Inquiry Ordered - 2016

The Government of Telangana has ordered CID inquiry into the alleged leak of question paper of TS EAMCET - 2 held recently in Telangana for admission int MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17.

It has been rumored that the question paper has been leaked by some coaching centers after collecting lakhs of rupees from their students. The  DGP of Telangana, Anurag Sharma has ordered CID inquiry over the issue.

It has been observed that several candidates who have secured not so good ranks in previous EAMCET have got good ranks in the latest TS EAMCET - 2 examination of 2016.

Telangana EAMCET - 2 is for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses only in medical and dental colleges of Telangana for the academic year 2016-17.

New RGUKT - IIITs in Prakasam and Srikakulam Districts from 2016-17

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is starting new RGUKT - IIITs (International Institutes of Information Technology) in Prakasam and Srikakulam districts from the academic year 2016-17. Another new RGUKT - IIIT will be started in Anantapur from the academic year 2017-18.

At present, there are two IIITs in Andhra Pradesh, at Nuzvidu and Idupulapaya (RK Valley). New IIIT in Prakasam district will be set up at Yerrajarla near Ongole. The location is yet to be identified in Srikakulam district.

The admissions notification for Intermediate + B.Tech Integrated course will be announced in a day or two for these institutions. The classes will be temporarily held at Idupulapaya and Nuzvid.

85 percent of seats in Srikakulam IIIT will be reserved for students from AU region (10 districts) and remaining seats will be filled with students from all the districts of AP.

TS - ECET 2016 Spot Admissions into Engineering and B. Pharmacy

Telangana State Council Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced notification for lateral entry admission into Engineering / B.Pharmacy courses through spot admission for unfilled vacancies.

Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates who have not taken admission so far are only eligible. Candidates shall not be allowed for spot admission without original certificates.

The vacancies are to be filled first with those qualified in TSECET-2016 and possessing 44.5% and above (for OC) and 39.5% and above for (BC/ SC/ ST) in the relevant Diploma/ B.Sc. Examination.

Junior Intermediate Zoology Study Plan for Chapters 1-4 for AP and Telangana

Majority of the Intermediate Bi.P.C. students take it as a challenge to secure admission into M.B.B.S course. To get admission into M.B.B.S a good rank in NEET is essential. Hence, like NEET, a planned study of Intermediate lessons is
also important to get good marks in it.

Division of marks: Out of the total 60 marks, 20 marks are allotted for Very Short Answer Questions (10 Questions × 2 marks). 24 marks are allotted for Short Answer Questions (6 Questions × 4 marks). 16 marks for Long Answer Questions (2 Questions × 8 marks).

There is no choice for VSAQ. All questions are to be answered. To answer these questions, all topics are to be studied thoroughly.

In SAQ, 8 questions will be given. One can choose any 6. Answer for these questions should be in 15-20 lines each. Some questions are related to drawing the labelled diagrams also.

In LAQ, 2 questions are to be answered out of given 3. Each question should be in 45-60 lines. Illustrations are also required. LAQs are to be described in detail with labelled diagrams.

Unit-wise Study Plan:

The syllabus of Junior Intermediate Zoology is divided into 8 units.
Generally, LAQs are given from the units II, VI, VII and VIII. Apart from these, one SAQ and one VSAQ are also given from all the 8 units. Sometimes from VI and VIII units two VSAQ may also be given.

For VSAQ: The answer must be direct and brief. For example, observe the following question.

Q: Distinguish between ecosystem and biome.
A: a. A functional unit of Biosphere in which members of the community interact among themselves and with the surrounding environment, involving in energy flow forming a well defined trophic structure is known as ecosystem.
b. A large community of organisms that occupies a vast region is known as biome.

For SAQ: Note thar answers for some of these questions may not be in 20 lines. But for some questions, the answer may be more than 20 lines. Hence, do not count the number of lines but just write answers properly and completely. If diagram is given under SAQ, draw it with a sharply pointed HB or B pencil and label the parts towards right side. If space is not sufficient on right side, write some parts on left side also. This type of questions are generally given from the units II and VII.

I. Zoology - Diversity of Living World

There is much scope for giving VSAQ from branches of Zoology, Species concept, Nomenclature etc. SAQs are generally given in basic concepts
of classification, species concept, biodiversity etc.

II. Structural Organisation of Animals

Very Short Answer Questions and Short Answer Questions are given from symmetry and body cavity. Short Answer Questions and Long Answer Questions may be given from tissues. Diagram under SAQ may be given from tissues.

III. Animal Diversity-I

This unit is related to characters and classification of Non-Chordates. Generally Very Short Answer Questions and Short Answer Questions are given from this unit. To study the characters and classification characters of different classes and examples the student has to prepare tables with the help of Text Book. Hence, it becomes easy to remember.

IV. Animal Diversity - II

It is related to characters and classification of Chordates. Usually Very Short Answer Questions and Short Answer Questions are given from this unit. As like that of Unit III, prepare tables with the help of Text Book.

Telangana EAMCET 2 Certificate Verification and Counseling Schedule for MBBS and BDS Admissions 2016-17

The Telangana EAMCET 2 admissions counseling for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17 will be held in the first week of July 2016. The certificate verification for the same will be held from 25th July 2016.

Engineering Management Quota Admissions 2016-17 for Category B Seats in Hyderabad

TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) has informed that the private engineering and pharmacy colleges have to complete admissions under management quota / category - B by 31st July 2016.

The TSCHE has released guidelines for management quota admissions. 15 percent of total seats will be filled through Category - B admissions.

Following these guidelines, several colleges have issued admission notifications under management quota / category - B for the year 2016-17.

Apart from CBIT, MGIT, colleges like Anurag college of engineering, DRK Group of Institutions, Krishnamurthy institute of engineering and technology, Sri Indu institute of engineering and technology, SSJ engineering college, Bhoj Reddy Engineering college for women also announced admission notifications under management quota.

Telangana EAMCET 2 Results and Counseling Schedule - 2016

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad will release TS EAMCET - 2 results on 13 July 2016. The results will be available on the website http://med.tseamcet.in/ .

NTR University MBBS and BDS Counseling - Certificate Verification 2016

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) has announced notification for first and final verification of certificates for admission into MBBS / BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17 in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET 2016 Second and Final Phase Counselling Notification

Second and final phase counseling for AP EAMCET 2016 will be held between 15 - 17 July 2016. The official notification in this regard will be announced by the the APSCHE. This will be the final counseling for AP EAMCET admissions.

Candidates who have participated in the first phase counseling and those have not attended for certificate verification may also participate in second / final phase counseling.

Allotment of seats for second phase counseling will be on 18th July 2016. About 6000 candidates who have secured seats in first phase counseling have not reported in the colleges. They also can participate in second counseling.

NIMS Hyderabad B.Sc Bursing, BPT and MHM Admissions 2016-17

Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad has announced admission notification for B.Sc Nursing, BPT and Master of Hospital Management courses for the academic year 2016-17. The details are given below:

B.Sc Nursing: 100 seats.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy: 50 seats

Master in Hospital Management: 20 seats.

The candidates are requested to visit website of NIMS for application form, prospectus and also for any updates. The filled in application forms shall be
submitted along with Demand Draft in favour of Director, NIMS OR
NIMS cash receipt and supporting documents as detailed in prospectus

Telangana EAMCET 2 Hall Tickets Download for Medical Admissins - 2016

Candidates who have applied for Telangana EAMCET - 2016 for second phase of the exam can download hall tickets from the official TS EAMCET website. Hall tickets can be available for download from 1st July 2016.

TS - EAMCET -2 is for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses in medical and dental colleges in Telangana state. Telangana Government is conducting TS EAMCET 2 after recent developments on NEET.

About 54000 candidates have been applied for the TS EAMCET 2 notification. Candidates can apply from 1st July with a late fee of Rs. 10000.

Telangana EAMCET II will be held on 9th July 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The examination will be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad.
